    Hi,
    I applied for the Tariff on Wednesday afternoon.
    I am already a BG customer and I haven't received any notification from them yet.
    But I have just logged into my account on my smart phone app and it says that my gas is on the new fixed tariff. My electric is still showing my free Saturday Jan 2016 tariff.
    Is it normal for one tariff to change over before the other.
    Or am I going to experience a fault on my account which will be a nightmare to sort out ?

    I've had it happen when switching suppliers ie different start dates -but not when changing dual fuel tariffs internally -but with BG who knows ??

    I am an existing British Gas customer and applied for this tariff on Thursday. My account has been changed already. Which is great.

    BUT all my Energy Usage data for the last year has been lost. They've effectively reset my account. Which I am not happy about, in fact very annoyed. I am trying to get British Gas to sort this, but they,re closed until Monday.

    I have seen all my data going missing out of my online account before. It was over a weekend as well. But on the Monday all my usage was back in my account.
    So hopefully all your data will be displayed properly again tomorrow.

    I've just signed up for this too. After a few years with EON they wanted to increase my monthly DD by £15 for a new fixed deal while this BG tariff is going to be £10 less than I was paying.
  • Just signed up for it. When and how does the cashback come, is it just applied to the bill?

    I think it gets transferred into your bank account after 3 months.

    I have just had a look at my account and it still shows my electric tariff as the free Saturday Jan 2016. But my gas is showing the new fixed Dec 2016 tariff.
    Do you think there is a problem on my account ?
    Do I need to contact BG ?

  • I just checked my tariff and found it's lower than the offer tariff ,i'm on Sainsburys energy price freeze oct 2016 tariff ,which is cheaper ,if your not a higher user ,so do check first !
