    Thanks for the reply Matt. I logged in to my British gas account today and it's showing the new tariff already so I don't think it's going to be an issue :)

    I signed up and got a confirmation email on 5th Feb....but nothing more via email or through post yet..

    I can't remember if it was a total of £30 cashback or £30 for gas and £30 for electricity.
    Does anyone know please ?

    Also when the years fix is nearing its end do we get any sort of reminder ?

    £30 total.

    Not sure on second part, I've never got near the end of a fix before however I guess the answer is effectively yes as the CEC will see that you can save money by switching tariffs.

    We send a reminder email around 50ish days before your tariff comes to an end.

    Hope that helps.
