Hi folks.
Yesterday Spendy day, 1 xmas pressie and xmas cake decorations. Took gs to local garden centre see xmas display and then naughty bit pub lunch.
Today tried to go for long walk but road was flooded and electric fence to keep sheep in at the side so turned around came home. Didn't fancy being frazzled 2miles done only. Met ex boyfriend for Sunday lunch, he paid my turn next time. So Sfd for me.
Cold out there, bunny has his hot water bottle tonight. In my garage so he's sheltered Heating on, munching on warm mince pies and watching The mummy.

We have spent money today, we have bought coal for the stove. With the logs we already have we have enough fuel for the whole of winter now - £21.96 spent there. Also bought DD a birthday card from DS and some bags for cleaning up after the dog - £2.59 there.
Sorted out the caravan as planned and DH painted the gate (that has been on the to do list for ages), he also fixed the felt on the garage roof which got ripped in the wind.
Am going to get the kids organised for the shower soon then I'll have a bath later and then a nice evening relaxing in front of the t.v.
Ooh I almost forgot, I called Sky yesterday to cancel my TV subscription, we have the basic package at £20/month and I was intending to just pay the £10/month to carry on using the box as it would appear the rest of my family can't live without it now. Anyway they gave me an £8/month discount for 12 months so I'm only paying £2 for the channels so I stayed on that deal.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

A SFD. Some cooking done, more to do - bacon soup is lovely but DS3 has already had a pint mug full (I had two ramekin dishes of it, used the larger bowls for berries in sugar free jelly). I have had bananas, lentils and barley, assorted seeds, yoghurt with porridge oats, lots of veg, feeling better but still fell asleep.
Today I am grateful for finding yoghurts at a reasonable price, for Doctor Who (watching favourite programmes a day or two late as keep falling asleep) and for some periods of blue skies. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Good day today!
Three things I'm thankful for:- Long, deep bubble bath
- Mocha, stollen and TV with OH
- Delightful chat with teenage children of friends
I've also got a pile of 6 items to take to charity shop to add to the 27 already gone.
Here's to a good week everyone :beer:0 -

This year lots of houses in my village have small trees in brackets on the outside of their houses. I think it's part of a local initiative as more are appearing each day. I wonder if they're free?!?! I want one!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

I am here to confess to breaking the rules
I had my one (and only) outing today with bestie. It was so lovely to catch up with her and be out of the way of work and the home situation at the moment. We did a bit of Christmas shopping (I only have 2 things left to get now), and then went to St@rbucks for a sit down and natter. And I enjoyed every mouthful of my large almond and honey hot chocolate - it felt like a really indulgent treat... and it was. Also stocked up on packaging for my eBay sales and a couple of stocking fillers at the pound shop.
I know that coffee shops weren't allowed but that is my only day out for this month, and I really enjoyed it.
Things I am grateful for today
1. Quality time with my bestie
2. Almost being finished Christmas shopping
3. Making £30 on eBay for junk from the loft
Normal service shall resume tomorrow (i.e. I will be tired, stressed and grumpy)Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Hello all, didn't get a chance to post yesterday as I was super busy at work but at least it was a NSD as I was too busy to even think about spending - now up to 12/15 (I think).
