dolly84, I think I'll try and catch Hugh later on player - I missed it last night.
Spend day today, 64 euros in Ald* plus I got some lego for a christmas present and a few christmas chocolates whilst I was in the shopping centre. I have taken the money for these out of the 'cash earned form selling stuff and using coupons' envelope and put it in my purse. the idea is that Christmas this year be self funding.
I am grateful for beautiful autumn colours, ticking off a couple of things off my to do list, the warm weather.Trying to keep in budget.

Things to be grateful for today
1.I found a soup recipe on the boards yesterday that hubby and I loved - sweet potato with ginger, chilli and coconut. It was so good hubby took it for lunch today and I didn't have to make him anything else
2. A nice warm bed

Fmess - I'm neither really. I did ballet when I was younger all the RAD Grade 1-8 exams but then when I left school, I never did any more lessons until a few weeks ago when I found an adults ballet class near me. It's the best thing I've done in years and makes me wonder why I left it this long to start dancing again. One day a week, it's technically a beginners class so everything is nice and slow and I can work on my technique and balance and then on another day I actually learn the Intermediate syllabus.
Another NSD for me today. Last night, my computer did not go off until 10 and I didn't read anything but at least my house was clean and tidy so 1/3 habits isn't too dreadful.
I'm grateful for everyone on here who's shown an interest in strangers' lives and supported and encouraged them to achieve their goals, for a week off work and for finally selling some clothes on ebay.
Mince for tea though I haven't decided what I'm doing with it yet. Probably spag bol. Lots of leftovers for everyone tomorrow.Money made on etsy in April: £0

dolly that dark country lane would be my worst nightmare!! Although it would definitely make me run faster! Lol.
Spendy day today, went to town with my lovely mum, i dont usually get to spend time with her, as her day off is a day i work (she looks after ds).
I spent £20 on fuel, budgeted.
£29 on a birthday pressie for my mum, 2 maternity bras and a onsie for dd for xmas all in primarni. The bras were £30 in m0th3rcare for two, but £5 each in primarni, and Definitely worth a go!!
We went to a restaurant for lunch, courtesy of t3scimo vouchers, then stopped in mr.t where i swapped a tshirt for a smaller size for dd, got milk and bread and squash, an advent calendar for dd and a bday pressie for bil.
I spent £43 all day but had a refund for £26 which id been waiting for, so all in a spend of £17 for a lovely day out.
I now have about £15 left for the week, need to count the change to be sure.
I should manage though.
today i am grateful for -
1. Spending the day with my mum
2. Ds behaving in town
3. A lovely free meal in a lovely restaurantStill here..... but working on that!0 -
Hi all
Very motivating reading all the posts!
- £27.39 from fleabay and £21.60 tax refund = 48.99/80.00
- 2/15 NSD
- 5 pairs of school trousers given to 2nd hand uniform shop at DS's school = 5/80 (must try harder)
- charity will be Xmas shoeboxes for church and helping at DD's guide unit
Grateful that the fog lifted today (sorry, I don't like it!), after school club that allows me to work and friends and family

Oh I haven't done anything yet to declutter 80 things. Definitely on my list for when I'm back.
Will have a meat free day today and fish for tea. I love the fog although I'm not looking fwd to driving in it on Thu morning in the dark.
Oh I also did a £5 donation the other day but it was to the Uni nursery who gets a new building refurbished but needs to raise their own money for toys etc.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
No money spent today although DS is at swimming club tonight but that is from the kids activity budget and already withdrawn in cash. I am sending the kids with £1 each tomorrow to get poppies at school.
Today I am thankful for DS eating his tuna melt for tea without moaning, for having enough money in the bank to cover all my essentials and again for my little car which had enough room to give a school friend of DD's a lift home when she was in need.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi everyone! Well done to all of you who have made a good start paying down debts, decluttering and achieving NSDs.
I'm afraid I haven't managed a NSD yet. DSs Xmas present has been reduced by £20 on Amazon, plus I had the email about £7 credit when you buy a gift card, so we ordered the card yesterday and will order the present when the card and discount code arrive. It will cost us £73 instead of £100.
DH did butchers shop today. We could have lasted a few more days without but it's a 7 mile drive away and DH was in that town anyway today so made sense to do it while he was there and save on fuel.
I've managed to get a bit of me time this week and have been eating better (although still not the proper 3 meals a day). I haven't managed to drink any water yet as I just can't face it when the weathers cold.
Today I am grateful for DH taking little ones to school so I could have a lie in, my amazing mum who is fantastic with my children and saves me a fortune in childcare, and homemade soup to warm me up on a cold day.0 -
Quick hello. Nice to see the useful hints and tips here and very much appreciated! Still trying to decode some abbreviations, but getting the hang of most.
Welshkitty: completely get the issue with water in cold weather. My suggestion, and what I always do when I have a cold, is to try boiled water, allowed to cool a bit, with a dash of "no added sugar" squash (apple and blackcurrent my preference). I use the double concentrated squash and you really only need a very small amount to lift an otherwise bland glass/cup/mug of water. I find it most palatable and soothing in cold weather. Hope this helps!BE HEALTHY, STAY POSITIVE AND PERSEVERE0
