noodle has and is free for anyone in the UK , it is not a months trial , its for life.
however talk talk are going to give you "free" the slightly upgraded version that includes an email to tell you when you have been scammed. this service cost £20 per year , but must be costing talk talk about £1 , as they are buying 4 million.
noodle is call credit , not the largest by far , and are not even used by talk talk to report too ,
they use the best (expedion) but want their customers to accept crap0 -
How exactly are we expected to change either our account password - when we are unable to login to the account ?
Did you ask them ?
I am with TTbusiness for my email - which I have changed the password on (TTB website is still up and running) - but my Account password is with TT Residential
The business website has a Myaccount area. You can change your Login password there,I've just done it0 -

Plus it's call credit, not as good as other 2.
How do they know you've been scammed? or it's ligit.0 -
Latest information on the talktalk website:
Account page still down, so no one can log into there talktalk account/s
5:45pm - 23/10/2015 - Credit monitoring for all customers
We are continuing to work closely with the Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Unit and security experts following the major criminal cyber-attack on our website.
At the same time, our priority continues to be explaining the steps you should take to protect yourselves. We have emailed customers and continue to use the media and other channels to update you as the situation develops.
We know that issues like this can be worrying so we've partnered with Noddle, a credit reporting service from Callcredit, one of the leading credit reference agencies, to offer 12 months of credit monitoring alerts for free. This service can now be activated by using the following code: TT231.
To sign up for Noddle and get your free credit monitoring alerts follow these steps.
We are also working hard to get our services back up securely so they are available for customers to use safely and securely as soon as possible.
We are extremely sorry for any concern and inconvenience this incident may have caused you.Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
TalkTalk NOW have email problems (up until now, it was MYACCOUNT that was inaccessible) - they have a banner on the home page saying that Email is now problematic !!
Where is this going ?0 -
You appear to be condoning TT for this lack of common sense - I mean who else would hold a large DB of 4 million customer bank details in plain language / unencrypted ?
Not condoning TT for anything - but I dislike this baying mob mentality that is being exhibited, aided and abetted by the mediaEarly retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -

TalkTalk appear to be more concerned about updating the web links on their home page to news and TV than any important things ...0

On the Noddle website to sign up it asks for all sorts of info, including your bank card details including the 3 digit number on the back...
At this point I closed the website as I simply don't know whether to trust them or not, particularly as it was following a link on the Talk Talk website...
It's legit: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/banking/2011/12/noddle-to-offer-free-credit-reports.
They require so much information about you to confirm it's really you signing up to the service.
If they only asked for name, address and date of birth you could easily view details of other punters.0
