What amazes me is the arrogance of talk talk.
I would not even use them as a last resort.:rotfl:

Was with them a few years ago. I hope that I am safe and hope they communicate to me as soon as they can. How the heck am I going to remember my password for Mytalk or whatever it is called ?

I will complain to them via the ICO. I don't understand why in this day and age companies don't have processes in place to make sure they are not liable for cyber attacks ?

I hope they get fined loads by the ICO and they should be.

    HTHs.

My mum had a strange call yesterday claiming to be from 'Talk Talk', she called Talk Talk who said it wasn't them and likely from the recent cyber-attack.

    https://help2.talktalk.co.uk/noddlealerts

It's the paid for 'alerts' service that they have stumped up for.
    Noddle alerts worth £20

In addition, we are offering twelve months of Noddle alerts for free. With Noddle alerts, you can:
    • Get an email every time there's a significant change to your Callcredit credit report (like new credit accounts being opened)
    • Get a monthly email to reassure you if there have been no changes to your Callcredit credit report

    Not worth the money though...

talk talk , don,t even report to callcredit

"See your full Callcredit credit report for life, not just for 30 days" NO noodle is NOT a months free trial like the other two!

    noodle is FREE for life

Last weekend I opted to move to a new broadband provider. I would certainly have moved to a new provider after this incident had I not already decided to do so.

Just watched BBC News. An expert was on there a minute ago saying those who were customers of TT in the past 24 months could have had their details stolen.

Today I changed my internet provider from TalkTalk and started the process of moving to a new current account. You still can't access Talk Talk's web site to change password.

Why is Harding in this job, I looked at her wiki entry and she has been involved with Woolworths, Tesco and Thomas Cook, all of which companies have been in trouble (or no longer exist). I think she knows more about racehorses than commerce or internet service provision.

Sack her now and keep her out of the board room!
