  • I must have been very lucky to get 6 out of 7 without damage, and the 7th just being a door which required a little sanding on the bottom to close correctly (well worth the refund I got given).

    Mattwallisuk,

There is a warehouse sale advertsied in this weeks paper, it says that it is the final sale as the warehouse is going to be demolished. The sale starts on Saturday at 10.00am but it is running for one month, these sales are normally just for 2 days at the weekend. The ad says the warehouse will be open every day from this Saturday until Sunday March 21st.

    Hope that helps.

Any chance you can post a copy of the advert or address of the warehouse or anything?

    Thanks again!!

It's at the Hathaway retail park, if you know Chippenham at all it's the retail park near the town centre where Homebase and Halfords are. The Warehouse is actually oposite Halfords, you need to park in the Overflow carpark, you'll see a large cream warhouse, they normally put a big banner up on the side of the building.
Halfords post code is SN15 1JG

Hope you find what you need.

Matt and Jog, are you affiliated with this company?
    Illegitimi non carborundum.
  • Yes of course I own them.

    What a stupid question.

    BettiePage,

I have no connection to this company, except as a customer, I happen to live near to them and see the ads for their warehouse sales in our local paper, Matt had asked me to post when the next one is.

I know from reading this thread, not everyone is happy with them but the furniture we have had from their warehouse sales has been fine, you can see any damage and we have always got stuff that is easily fixed for a fraction of the normal price, e.g. solid oak large coffee table £20, solid oak dining room chairs £30 each, solid oak chest of drawers £65 the chairs and the chest of drawers all needed a bit of re-gluing in places but it was all stuff we were able to do ourselves.

The furniture they sell in the warehouse sale is returned / damaged items - some of it does have extensive damage, some only very minor. If you happen to live nearby it is well worth a visit to see what they've got.

Anyone ever decided to take these up on their 7 Day no quibble money back guarantee?

Don't know if it's a new thing but some of the complaints on here seem to more than warrant a refund or replacement item?
  • Just wondered if anyone went to the retail park to check quality?
  • I am tempted to drive to the retail park but its 180 miles for me... I just want something big and damaged to cut up and make into shelves.... just to use for wood...
