Ok, again I am with Sky BB and Line rental. Are there any deals out there competitive that I can switch to or at least use as an ace card when phoning Sky as they offered me nowt last time I rang and my contract ends 26thy of November.0

wow, I just signed up with Sky for phone, television and broadband, I was made aware of the line rental increases so that was included in the price given, but no one mentioned the price of BB going up? Surely they'd have to tell me that info?0

What make you think broadband is going up?...It is not.0 -
Anyone........?
I looked up two or three, last year and quoted the deals, but this year, though I had some details, none were asked for.
(Free broadband, half price line rental, £8 call package (from Dec1), half price original tv and £50 credit, obtained).0 -
I rang them last week, disappointed that they were ending the free evening and weekend plan, I told them that if it wasn't for my OH wanting Sky Sport then I would be leaving them.
Still, I told them I wanted to go for the pay as you go plan. My calls are a lot less than £4 a month anyway and as I have 500 free minutes on my mobile, I didn't want to be paying them £48 a year for literally nothing.
They reduced my package by £11, reduced my rental by £2 and my SkyGo by £2 so saving £15 a month for the next 12 months.... I will revied it again then.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I got my letter, but seem to have misplaced it.
I had a look on mysky at my future bill, and its gone up £4 per month.
I currently pay 28.90, for Broadband unlimited, line rental and sky talk anytime, and it will be 32.90 from 1st Dec
By the looks of it , I will still be on sky talk anytime. (But it says elsewhere on the site that anytime won't be available any longer) But I am sure my letter said I would be changing packages.
I phone Ireland frequently, so need a reasonable package, but the international extra will be £12 per month. (which would be an increase of £8 per month in total, which is ridiculous)
I don't need to have mobile minutes, as I have a silly amount I never use on my sim only contract.
I dont have a tv package, (don't watch it enough to be worthwihle having more than freeview)
And it doesnt look like any of the other providers can beat what I am getting.
Any suggestions?Light Bulb Moment: Feb 2007

Ring to cancel and see what they offer.
Have you looked at other methods of phoning abroad cheaper ?
