    What is the best deal out there for just line rental and BB ? I want to move from Sky as they didn't offer me anything decent to stay.
  • I would try the post office, I changed over from Sky about a week ago. I paid a years line rental upfrount £144 and got free broadband for a year then its £8 a month for your BB plus your line rental for 6 months (it is an 18 month contract) I also got a £20 credit on my account as another post office customer recomended me. Was a smooth change over.

    Did you go through a comparison , cashback site ? The reason I ask is the Post Office don't show in any of the top comparisons. It seems to be Plusnet.

    Hi jem,Curious;
    As I'm with TT, and cannot get newbies deal to stay, how come I qualify for newbies PO deal, when TT own it? Not going with them, just curious, as it's the same company.?
    At the moment, sitting tight, with all that's going on.;)

    Hi,

    Just been on to sky and it turns out that you can leave your contract at any time as they have increased the line rental to £17.40, this is assuming you signed up when it was £16.40

    I signed up in september, I've now lost my free weekend calls and had a price hike so I'm looking around.
  • That happens because they're both different companies with different prices and aims, but both use the exact same systems and same shareholders, much like Plusnet and BT.

    Same parent company like PlusNet is owned by BT but separate as far as costs and deals are concerned.

    did not use a cashback site just contacted Post office via number given on thier website.
