Im not leaving sky as i like the service and the sky+ box but will try it on see what i can get out of them!

You'll not be able to leave the TV part as it's considered a separate contract.

The get-out-free will only apply to LR and BB contract.

Thanks jem, you really are good , having never used a cashback site, there's always a first.:eek:Need to see how it operates.

You sign up and then visit BT through Quidco's links. However you need to be sure no cookies are there from any previous visit or it won't track. I always use a separate browser that clears cookies each time it closes.

If your grandson can get you a family deal for LR/BB I think this might be best for you.

Can you re-negotiate with Sky, at the start of a new contract?
Didn't you know they were upping their prices as the others have.?
It's hard keeping up to date with all ISP's .

You can leave with no penalty due to the price increase.

It's already factored in to new customers since around July. For existing customers those price changes will take effect from December.

They're all it with price increases - all much of a muchness. The deals to be had are when you move or at least cancel and get a retentions deal.

I do too, let you know what happens .
If I decide to go Via cashback, will use IE, never use it.
These are the things that can make a good deal, not a good deal:beer:
  • The Quidco offer for Sky original bundle. Half price for 6 mths, plus £50 prepaid MasterCard or credit.
my question is do they pay the cash back £125 offered, plus the £50 total £175
I love MSE, Thank you to all who share their journey and knowledge to reach their goals and live a good life on a small income.
2025 will be a year of necessary challenges and changes, and closing some doors permanently that don’t serve me or are not in my best interest.

Yes - all going well and you get it as cashback is never guaranteed.
  • Jem16, Thanks for the reply, sorry if it seemed a dumb question

I got thru to Sky on 0800 1510775

i wasnt sure if there number starting 03 was free during the week as I only have the sky weekend package

if you are cancelling your service lik me then its only 14 days to wait which is good for me as I have some 100gb EE promo SIMs I can use instead

I joined sky in may & got £100 visa card & £70 cashback so Im actually still in profit over the nearly 6 months Ive been with them

If you have Sky line rental, calls to Sky are free at all times.

Are you not going anywhere else for LR/BB?
