    Hi

I am just coming to the end of an 18 month contract with t-mobile through dial a phone. I must say I have never had a problem getting my cashback. I have had 4 cashbacks and i'm sending my final one off to them shortly. I always send it on time and they send me a text to say they have received the details, then the cheque follows about a week later.

The main thing is you need to be organised and get those dates marked on your calender, so you don't miss to send off your bills (they like the originals, so I always keep copies).

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Nicki!

How do you post them, recorded delivery or registered post?
  • Hi again

I post them recorded, but if in doubt just explain to the post office and they will advise you.

I have just taken out another deal with dialaphone over the last week or so. My new phones have 3 months free insurance, then after that you have to start paying a monthly fee. If you do not want it, then you must remember to write to the insurance provider and cancel it before the 3 months is up. Just another date to put on your calender.

Another point to remember is, if you port your old number then you must advise them so that their records are correct and not still showing the number they originally sent to you.

Think that is all. If i think of anything else i will post.

I,m a 17 year old and took out my first mobile phone contract with dial a phone last may(in mums name)
Due to make my first cashback claim soon but a little confused so would appreciate any help.
It states you must send us origionall bill thats dated between 25 october and 25 november(please refer to actuall bill date rather than the bill period)
All my bills are dated on the 25th and my last one was 25th october which is bill no. 6 so is this the correct one to send or should it be the next one as i suspect nov25th.

I think it is the one dated 25th october that should be sent.
  • I too have a cashback deal with dialaphone. It would be the 25th October bill you need to send.

I'm just submitting my first cashback claim for dialaphone as my bill dated 26th October has just arrived. My requirement was to send the bill dated between 26th October and 26th November and I assumed that they required the 26th october one as the November one would not arrive until after the final date to claim my 1st cashback.

If anyone has already successfully made a claim can they confirm that only the original front sheet showing the bill is required as per the original instructions? The instructions say only the summary and bill is required and not the itemised billing sheets, pages 2-4 of my bill are all just details of calls, but I have decided to add the final sheet to the claim as well as there is a little mini summary on there.

I'm also debating whether to go for recorded or special delivery..with e2save and all the problems i had with them on another phone I ended up using special but it looks like dialaphone might be a bit more trustworthy so maybe recorded will be enough?

  • Hi,
I'm looking at getting a new contract mobile deal I was looking at dial-a-phone recently as they have the phone I'm looking for, it may not be the cheapest by far even with the cashback, but I've seen a few good comments about them and their cashback deals don't seem as unrealistic as the 12 months free ones.

The only thing which is bugging me is the complete lack of terms and conditions for the cashback, I've gone as far as filling out all the payment details and found nothing. If anyone has any recent experience with them or can point me to a link for the T & C's I'd be most grateful.

Of course any horror stories of dealings with dial-a-phone are also appreciated.

    Thanks.

Just an update..I have just had my claim returned on the basis that is 'not valid for redemption at this time' so obviously this is going to be more difficult than we had thought.

Soolin check your requirements again. I think you will find that it also states when they will accept the claims. In my case they will only deal with them for a period of a month after the final date. In your situation you will need to send the oct 26 bill between Nov 26 and Dec 26. It makes more sense this way as you will also be able to send in the nov26 bill in a timely fashion. Also you can see what 'not valid for redemption at this time' means - you were simply too early(or at least I hope that is the way it works at dialaphone)
