MSE News: 1.2m UK vehicles to be 'corrected' in Volkswagen emissions scandal

I'm fuming about this. Not only is the MPG for my 1.6 Audi grossly exaggerated, there are likely to be DPF problems coming up and now this.
I'll be closely monitoring this and unless compensation is being paid, I will attempt to use the Consumer Rights Act on the (non Audi) dealer I purchased the vehicle from.
I believe Volkswagen have put aside 4.5 billion for this. I worked out that this equates to around £500 per vehicle. Good luck with that figure VW, I won't take anything less than a vehicle swap or 1000's in compensation.0 -

I'd brace yourself for a bit of a shock0 -
Hi there
First time in a forum. Advice wanted please.
I have an opertunity to purchase an Audi A4. It has and affected engine. It's from a main Audi dealer. 64 plate. Should I get it or avoid it.
Many thanks0 -

Like I said in my earlier post, as you're expecting to give your car back or get thousands in compensation, you need a dose of reality.
You won't get your way. Get that in your head now and stop acting like you're on a crusade0 -

But first you need to have suffered a loss to be compensated for.0
