English isn't his first language remember. By court I'm assuming he means submitting a case to whoever decides to prosecute (Procuratur Fiscal in Scotland, I'm not sure if England has a different office), rather than an actual courtroom with a judge.0

The police will present the case to the CPS in England.====0 -
If you have or others have claimed on your car insurance have you mentioned to them you have the CCTV. They have a large database of claims and may be able to link her to others or even take on the case themselves to recover their monies...and they will if evidence is provided (I am retired Met Pol and worked with ins companies on these matters)I love green dots :T I hate red dots :mad:0

Yesterday, my neighbour was due at the police office and we were all waiting finally for a decision. Well guess what - she was bailed again until the 4-th of December.
My car alarm went off late last night and upon cctv inspection I noticed that the old lady ducks around the rear right of the car, outside cctv coverage - just checked and I have yet another scratch.
Will be phoning 101 again...0 -
Yeah I'd definitely be reporting any follow up incidents and make sure they are added onto to the original claim and not treated as a separate incident.0

I'd be calculating the repair costs and sending her an official bill for them if I were you.
Give her 14 days to pay, then send her a 'Letter Before Action' (basically enforces that you wish her to pay the bill or go to Court) giving her another 14 days to pay-up (make sure all letters are sent through the post and you get a 'proof of posting' from the Post Office).
If she still won't pay, it's off to MCOL to start a Small Claims Court claim against her.Never Knowingly Understood.

Why, what evidence haven't the police got?0 -
Hi, seems like the investigating officer is waiting for the results from the psycho evaluation.
at 11pm last night, two police officers attended and the reviewed the cctv. Upon inspection of the damages, one pc lays his thumb on the scratch and rubs it almost completely off - then he told me "Buy T-Cut and fix your scratches. We need to go now" and just left without putting a report through.
I complained to 101 today and at 8pm I got a call from the investigating officer who enquired for more information of what happened and wanted photos and cctv.
By his initiative, he came down an hour ago and re-arrested my neighbour. He said he will get the psycho results on monday and will inform me immediately of what the outcome is.
i will be going down the station tomorrow to hand in a usb stick with the latest footage.0 -
