Elderly keying my new car
Comments

Bay - the neighbourhood watch is a society of ordinary people who report all wrongdoings to a sergant. I guess there is a qualification criteria to get in.
Ivrytwr3- Please accept my apologies, I may have misunderstood you0 -
Especially the flaming torch (by which I assume she's referring to a stick that's on fire). That's a very serious claim of arson / attempted murder. Why is she only reporting that after your complaint and not whilst it was still smouldering in her house?
That's what seems odd to me but the attending police officer wasn't surprised at all. He said it is an attempt to depict me/us as aggrevators but I think she went a bit over the top.0 -
At least that's obvious to the police officers dealing with it. I agree she's made her case a bit ridiculous already, which is just going to make her look more unreasonable.0

So let me get this straight.
Copper comes to your house and says "No point trying to do her for keying cars, she's old."?
What was your response to this?0 -

OP, Police officers, who deal with your case have also days off, other duties to do and so on. It won't be resolved within a week or two. They started to deal with it and investigate. Let them do their job. Only thing you can do is cooperate with police, wait and report any further incidents (if they happen).
On the other hand you seem to desperate to punish your elderly neighbour: you want to kick her out from council house, you are unhappy, that she hasn't been kept overnight at police station and accuse her to use her connections in town (you don't know, if she has them).
My car has been vandalised some time ago. Police has been brilliant (cought the guy and arrested him, took evidence from my car, has been in touch all day after it happened). It was really stressful, although my damage wasn't as costly as yours (much more cheaper car). I got my money back after nearly three months - the guy who had done changed his plea to guilty just before trial (on the same day). I am not British.
Just let the police to do their job and don't panic.0 -
Why? It's almost identical to my own experience. Are you surprised that the police haven't helped him?
I know it's illegal to say a bad word against the police but do your best mate. It's hard....
You do come out with some rubbish
I am not for or against the police.
When this story started I thought it was DM again, then thought it was real and now I am doubting it again as it reads like a work of fiction0
