Thank you for your post - I do not believe in racism thus why I would never blame anyone in it . However after calming down and re-thinking eveything it came to me that this may well be the reason - especially the audio recording and the numerous occasions I was sent home.

An interesting thing is that I now have 13/15 house's signatures. Turns out one of the neighbours (Lithuanians) have a very good opinion of her. They were the first to claim that she been nothing but nice to them.

So what do you make of it? Is she racist or did she say what she said in the heat of the moment?
Entirely possible that she is racist or that she's simply said it in the heat of the moment without thinking of course. Without sounding like I'm throwing our old under the bus, they're from generation that didn't really acknowledge racism as an issue. Many of them don't even see racist language as wrong and they certainly see the stigma that it now has. As a former immigration officer, she may of course, have a bit more cynicism behind her than your average old person.

If there is a racially motivated agenda behind her attacks though, she absolutely needs to see the consequences. Far beyond a strongly worded letter and a £60 fine. Damaging peoples cars is bad enough, it's criminal damage and incredibly unpleasant for the victim but to do it because of a deep hate of the persons background... Yep, she needs to see some form of consequences, otherwise there's just no point.

    An update:

Got a call from the investigating officer and was told anything I was told before was speculative and that the following is true:
    1. They apparently didnt have my number thus why they havent called me
    2. The offender has not been charged with anything, more evidence is being collected currently.
    3. The offender has agreed it is her on the video, however she denies causing damages
    4. The officer said it is impossible to prove that the "Light touch" she has on my vehicle has caused the damages
    5. The officer asked me to send him photos of before/after the allegations
    6. The officer said that the offender has visited them 2 times since she was arrested and claims that I have:
    a) Thrown a flaming torch through her open window
    b) Sprayed water on her window whilst she was sleeping
    c) Broken the fence between our properties
    7. The officer said the above are serious allegations and he will be investigating on me
    8. The officer said that the offender is known to police (not criminally) but throughout the years the forces have seen a decline in her mental state
    9. I asked the officer to give a call to the witnesses and do a door-to-door enquiries - he confirmed he will be doing so
    10. I asked to send him the petition (which is now signed even by people living on the street adjacent to our street) and he said he will review it.

All in all I take it that the old lady can claim insanity and no damages, and I will be charged for stuff that she made up entirely.

How very !!!!in great. Seems like the police is backing her actions

CCTV footage does not help sometimes, Police drive pat stating they where not "KITTED UP":T

Most members of the public are not kitted up.
  • crime figures are falling remember ;)

it works both ways though, people only do what they can get away with...

This ain't reggie kray you're dealing with here.

Sounds an awful lot like a place I used to work..... If you ever raised an issue, they'd tear through your work, pick out faults, make stuff up and then start disciplinary procedures.

The point being to make an example, to stop you causing trouble and to silence you.

If it were me, i'd be like..... "Yeah, ok bring it!! and where's your proof?"
“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
