Elderly keying my new car

  • An update: The lady was delivered by a police car late last night. I got a call from the ICU informing me that she has a restraining order against us and is forbidden from direct or indirect contact. Also, her Pink Jacket was seized as evidence.

Apparently we have a trial on the 25th of October when we will know what the outcome is.

So she's on conditional bail, a restraining order comes after she's been to court. The things you post don't ring true. There's a trail on 25th October so she has already been to court already?

Surprised you didn't pick Rover005 up on "She was delivered by a Police Car" too !

The OP is not of UK origin , their understanding of the language is pretty good tbh .

What i am sure he means is that (as you point out) she is on conditional bail and has a court date of 25th October and was brought home in a police car

I rather think that the OP meant DPS , Department of Professional Standards.

Something else that doesn't ring true.
Why would the woman concerned need to go to court in order to go on a trail?

  • Hi all, sorry for the late replay - I did mean DPS - Directorate of professional Standards. Also, the lady is on bail on the condition that she is restricted to speak to us. We have a court date on the 25th for damages in the size of 7.5k.

The DPS is supposed to deal with the first reporting officers for ignoring evidence and not putting through a thorough report, not contacting the victim and dismissing a case with strong evidence.

The ministry of internal affairs is doing an inquiry as to how everything escalated so quickly and the criminal damages caused by an ex-government official (i.e. the lady in question). That is literally all I know for now.

We are circulating a petition today to get her evicted from the property, however we do realise that it will be a hard case as she has reached "Grand-Dad status" for living 25 years in council housing.

    I will keep you updated.

Just because she has reached 25 years in her Council House dosn't mean she is more immune to the rules that Council tenants have to abide by.

You would be doing yourself a big favour by getting hold of the Council's tenancy agreement. At least then, you would have a good idea of whether or not you would all have a chance of getting her evicted.

  • Compensation is one thing -- and good luck to you. Vengeance is something else. Getting her evicted is over the top (unless she doesn't stop and heed the warning).

I would say that's unlikely, she'll think that SHE is the victim in all this. When the elderly adopt the mentality she clearly has, they won't listen to anyone.
