  • yes I copied the links and then edited the links , viewd then , then posted them as viewable , clearly marked as PARKING CHARGE , and second letter stating that they had contacted the DVLA to get the owners details,

even adding that there data controller had authority to do this

other people commented on the wordage , it was bad ,,,

Your employer is doing their own parking management they have not outsourced the operation to a PPC. When you are dealing with your employer you need to tread more carefully than if it were a 3rd-party parking company. At the end of the day your employer could fire you for breaking their parking rules so they hold far more over you than any PPC. It's the same situation for students at a college.

If it's your employer and they're doing their own parking management what rights do we have?

to provide the service they are deducting money from your salary , IE: you pay them for a "swipe" enabled car park and a place to park , they are deducting money from your salary , not maintain the equipment that is used in your line of work (swipe operated barrier) and charging you for a parking space that cannot be used.
  • they should be able to email it back to you as a PDF , they have for me , several times

I await the outcome , and your further letters to the DVLA

I emailed the DVLC again yesterday asking if I coul possibly have the info via PDF format and got this in reply:

Unfortunately we cannot release any personal information by email. The information was sent out to you on Wednesday.

    Kind regards

These Muppets think very highly of themselves thinking they can impose fines page 9:

    and penalties:

That's normal policy at NHS sites Freddy!
  • might be , but is it legal?
  • Bit of an update....

Cutting a long story short, basically, I spoke to them to ask why there was no confirmation in writing regarding the outcome of my appeal. I should have been given a letter but there wasn't one done which will be looked into. I was told verbally that the appeal results were that the notice was to be enforced.

On asking if I would be penalised if I turned up early to get a space in future, the answer was yes, I'll get another notice.
