hugs luckystarr, was thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were getting on?

Today has been another SFD, which brings me to 20 :j I really wanted to get some chocolate today, having said I will give up chocolate for October, however I wanted the SFD more, so I will be doing 32 days without chocolate.

Thank you so much for the challenge apple it's been a really good month and as always I've loved turtling along with you all :)

Tomorrow I am going to be at work for 12 hours so forgive me if I don't post or its a quick check in, without prior reading.

Of course it is a brilliant challenge Dolly. I am always amazed at how people can be so creative relating to this sort of thing. I could never achieve anything so good.
    :)

The only thing I am really concerned about is the tech-free day. I just can't think of how we can go without tech for 24 hours. I use it at work, to communicate with friends and family as well as a stress relief.
Is it okay to add in a different challenge maybe??
    :undecided

Still trying to figure out what exactly gave me my LBM. Even went back to earlier diaries with no success. Away to go and find the older challenges. See if that helps.

Thanks apple muncher for a brilliant challenge this month.

  • Hi everyone!

apple thanks for running the challenge this month!

Thanks for all the kind comments about my business. I'm hoping this is the start of the business becoming a success.

Ended the month with a bit of a positive - had a payment of £250 from my uni so have paid it straight off my cc, bringing my total down to £3000, which means I have paid off 15% of my cc debt since August. Hoping to get some more grants through so I can pay off another chunk!

    See you all in October!

Thanks apple for a great month! I've been avidly reading, even though I don't post so much.

Budgets came in about right and I managed 19 SFDs. Didn't go to the supermarket for the last two weeks by getting inventive, eating from the freezer and making my own bread.

Did go to Aldi for a big shop yesterday, but putting that in Oct budget as food was for today whilst I was on a course and was really scraping around for portable food! See you all on the other thread! :)
