Afternoon all
Update :
My plan is coming together and the balance transfers I did have all gone through and are in the process of being transferred back again. (they will wonder what I am playing at)
My situation is looking a little better as I have managed to transfer cards around to make things more manageable, with no transfer fees :T
I now have a large amount on a card @ 4.9% for life of balance Another card with a fairly large amount split into 2 transfer rates @ 0% until March 2018 and 4.9% for life of balance.
A BC that is now left with a smaller balance of £3,943. This one I will be chucking every spare penny at until gone.
I now have a shiny new snowball that says I will be CC free in 41 months as opposed to about 58 months on my previous snowball. (I've had a few believe me)
I have also looked at my situation in August 2015 and up until now I have paid off £6,292.98 from CCs. I know its only a small chunk from the overall CC total but its not bad going in 11 Months, considering I would have normally have been increasing them not decreasing
My new hobby of PADding will see my target CC decreasing quickly and bringing my CC free date even closer
The support and advice I have received on this site is what has seen me through so far. I am so motivated at the moment and WILL see the end to the dreaded CCs (one day)

Morning all
Quick update on the 12 month finances- Grocery shopping done, within budget
- Weekly payment made to TV licence
- Weekly payment made to TV package
- Overpayment made to target CC :T
- Dog walked
- Washing done
- Shepherds pie made
My TV licence is paid for this year up until January. I have also paid some of the following year too
This is all by making small weekly payments online towards it. I never realised how it would soon mount up and give me something less to worry about.
My TV package also works for us this way, I pay a set amount every week and then when the bill comes in its already paid.
I work things out in this way as OH gets paid weekly and I get paid monthly. I have all of my DDs go on the day I get paid and then I add bits towards my snowball throughout the month. Whatever is left from my wages goes into this also.
We then budget and live on OHs money during each week.
I need to keep this organisation up. I don't know what's happened to me lately :rotfl:
I have also realised that my new snowball starts from September. It doesn't mean I don't have to pay anything until then thoughIt just means I will be a whole month in front after I pay everything within the next 2 weeks :T
We will think we are rich when we reach the end of our journey

I have bitten the bullet again and decided I need to get this excess weight shifted
My local leisure centre are doing a free pass for 7 days (gym excluded) I registered and can now swim for FREE :T
I have rediscovered my love of swimming and have just been and managed to swim 0.77 of a mile :j
I have worked it out that 60 lengths of the pool = 1 mile so that will be my aim for tomorrow.
I find swimming so relaxing and no strain on my ever aging body and its time spent JUST ON ME
If you're watching the swimming on the Olympics, you may just see me on there

Thanks but I'll settle for swimming with the pensioners. They don't bite or sting. Well at least I don't think they do
