Hi Bear
I'm still here and still chipping away at my mountain of debt
Just terrible at updating my diary.
Anyway I have managed to reach my first target and aim to sit down with good old fashioned pen and paper and look at my next target.
It helps to keep me on track and something to aim for
I still have my emergency fund and I am still potting bits and pieces for Xmas.
Have been feeling a little low lately as I need to decorate my lounge, but wish I never had debt as I feel I shouldn't buy anything
I will be OK just a bit fed up but need to stay focussed and keep going. At least I am making progress eh.
On the plus side OH has been doing ok too.
I need to keep updating as I find it helps. (note to self, stop being lazy)
Also I received my first £50 payment from yougov surveys :j
I hope you are well

:hello:
Update, After reaching my target of £9,000I have now done a new snowball and realise I have only paid off £6,173.32 from CCs.
I also have 2 loans outstanding as well. The loans are a fixed payment each month and so I tend to let them roll along. I have been adding the loan payments I make to my target that I was aiming for because it gives me a boost to see how much I am paying off in total.
Its all very confusing but it makes sense in my head :rotfl:SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

Hello :hello:
Yay to meeting targets and getting £50 from yougov :T Glad to hear your OH is OK
Maybe you could start a "Doing up the lounge" fund? Put a little bit less in the emergency fund and add the yougov money or something.
Get planning what you want to do. Might make you feel a bit better if you have something specific to save for
Enjoy your weekend :j0 -

Very good point Bear.
I will certainly look at doing that, I feel a little less negative now after I look at what I've actually paid off so far.
Its amazing what a reality check can do
Have a good weekend too

Thanks Bob.
Your total is coming down nicely :T
I will keep going, I am going to start rounding down accounts again and sending small payments to one card. I have been a little lapse with this but need to kickstart it again as it really helps.
This debt busting is hard going isn't it?

:hello:
Hi
The title of my diary came at a time I was feeling a little over ambitious :rotfl:
However I now have my head well and truly out of my back side and I am chipping away slowly at my mountain of debt and will probably end up debt free in approx 60 months if i'm honest and realistic
Anyway welcome and stick around its all fun on this site and I have learned so much. Just need to stick to what I've learned.
ps: Love the signature, how true is that
