Brilliant words! So inspiring! I loved that story about the £103k clearance too, such a great tale wasn't it." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

You know that post really struck a chord with me. It proves that anything is possible. I must have read it 10 times and am so inspired by it.
I am actually looking forward to the new year.
I cant believe the year has gone already. Heaven knows where I would be if I hadn't had my LBM

Morning world
I was up extra early today and have already decluttered 2 bedrooms. Why we kept some of the stuff I found heaven only knows. Mind you OH hates throwing anything away and would be a hoarder if I wasn't right behind him clearing out when he doesnt notice
I have found a few bits that will be going on eBay and making a few extra pennies.
I need to hoover bedrooms and the rest of the house. Washing done ironing done dog walked dinner prepared and my plan then is to have a relaxing afternoon and evening.
DS is working so just myself and OH today. Nice and quiet afternoon.
The sun is shining this morning I think that has helped my mood today
Will be catching up on here and working on my new budget later.
Hope you are all well and having a relaxing time too.

I really need to Hoover too. It's too crunchy in some rooms hoovering is something I struggle with. I do all the other dailies with ease but trying to get round with a Hoover and a baby who hates the Hoover isn't easy! However I do find a hoovered house very uplifting mentally. Like clean sheets. Not sure why. Well done on all your decluttering!" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I agree about the clean sheets, I wonder what it is.
Have walked the dog again and will be sorting dinner soon. Just good old Bubble and Squeak tonight, Made from surplus veg and potatoes from yesterday. Very :money: cold meat pickle etc. Nice and easy.
Have DD and her OH coming tomorrow for a couple of days so we will have sort of a mini Christmas day again. I have enough food and drink so no extra groceries needed
On the financial front I have been onto my mobile provider via chat, they keep badgering me to upgrade early but, as I want to move to a sim only deal they wont allow it until March unless I pay up the rest of my contract. Lots of persuasive techniques from them but I held out and said I will be back in March for a sim only as it works out less than half the price a month. Quite proud of myself And the fact that its taken me 2 years to get the hang of the phone I have got let alone starting again :rotfl:
OH went to a sim only deal and pays £19.99 per month for unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 16gb Data so I will certainly be waiting.
Still haven't sorted a new budget yet. My plan is to keep an amount in a pot/envelope/purse at home to be used for essentials through the week. That way the bank account doesn't get dipped into. Anything left over in there will be made up to the same starting amount again at the end of the week therefore having to add less, thus leaving extra money in the bank ( I hope it works out like it does in my head)
Very confusing I know but that's me all over
Off to sort dinner as OH is hogging the TV with Sky Sports News Channel

Just caught up with your diary, it's been my bedtime reading for the past few nights.
What a journey you have had and what amazing progress you have made, truly inspiring! Wishing you all the best for 2017, I'll be following x0 -
Hi Hamiltoes and welcome aboard
I hope you have patience as my journey is going to be a long one :rotfl:
I am so determined to get to the end of my rainbow however long it takes me. I have got so much inspiration, advice and non judgemental support on this site I can't tell you everyone has been wonderful and I honestly don't know where I would be if I hadn't joined.
I am finally starting to accept that Rome wasn't built in a day. My debt didn't appear overnight and so won't disappear overnight either.
I have already put an amount of money in a tub in the cupboard, this is for essentials and only essentials through the week. We drew this out together as I need him on board too. My OH and I have put both debit cards in there too to remove temptation whilst out.
We still have funds in the bank and my plan is to build up the funds in there and make as many overpayments to my debt as humanly possible
When I named this diary I was a little over confident but hey ho my username is ok as I intend to tackle my debt in 12 month sections
Thanks for reading about my struggles and achievements feel free to add any suggestions or advice it will be gratefully received
