Hi Bear
:rotfl: Love the little man on top of the mountain.
I am still here, popping in and out randomly. I have neglected my diary again  sometimes I just feel like I am rambling on about nothing and tend not to write lately. (smack on wrist)
Anyhow I am still plugging away and waiting for payday. I am hoping I will get my extra funds I am due and aim to make a larger over payment to CC than usual. (fingers crossed)
My pay debt before xmas challenge is coming along nicely. I am over half way to my small target so a huge bonus there. It will only make a dent in my overall total but a dent at least.
I will then set myself a new target and so on and so on.
My EF is still there also (that's a secret so :shhh:)
Still no CCs used and have not added to my debt :T
I hope you are all well and I need to update regularly
Edit: The only thing not going so well is my healthy eating plan. You know when something was a good idea at the time

Hello :hello:
Sounds like everything is going wellWe'll ignore your healthy eating plan. I'm trying to eat better at the moment
but it's hard
Very well done for not using your cc's or adding to your debt :T My lips are sealed about your EF
Feel free to ramble but be warned I may ramble back
As he's up a mountain Smilie thought he'd practice.....0 -
Hi all, So I have continued to neglect my diary again
Payday today and have made my minimum payment to my CC with another big overpayment
Have been paid early due to the 15th falling on the weekend so I need to hang on to it all until my direct debits go out on Monday. Will then be able to update a bit further.
Am still on track to meet my pay debt by Xmas target of £9,000. This is only a drop in the ocean but at least I can see that I am making progress, however small. After I meet this target I aim to set myself another small one and so on. Until the final day when I can say "hey I am debt free". (One day)
I hope you are all keeping well

Am I ever glad its Friday too :j getting too old for this working full time malarkey
I love my 2 days off but spend it catching up on stuff I don't manage to do properly during the week Housework, beds, bedrooms, cleaning, washing, ironing.
Have decided that I will not be spending most of Sunday in the kitchen cooking dinner when everyone else does exactly as they choose all day!so there.
Rant over
Enjoy your weekends too everyone

Hello world, the sun is shining
Just sneaking a cheeky hour on the settee updating my slow progress on my challenges etc. Before I tackle the housework and dinner etc.
Am making progress gradually on my 2 remaining CCs. Have just checked my snowball and noticed I am 2 months ahead of schedule :T
Still need to reign in the food shopping costs. I am still buying too much  I have let my guard down on this one. Thats what comes from not keeping up with a shopping list when I go out.
I am also only 22 surveys away from my £50 on yougov
I am still adding to my sealed pot challenge and hope that come Xmas I will have enough in my tin to do all of my Xmas out of that.
My new plan is to tackle my overall debt in £500 targets. Everytime I reach £500 paid off something I will feel I have reached another goal. Sounds silly I know but it may help to keep me focussed and I can tick off my goals as I achieve them.
On the home front OH is doing ok, had the odd slip off the wagon but overall is doing ok. Have been getting on much better too which eases alot of the stress with money etc.
I hope everyone is well

Hello, happy Sunday :hello:
It's good to hear OH is doing well and you're getting on better
Yay to being 2 months ahead on your snowball - well done :T
Breaking down debt into chunks is a good idea I think. It gives you something to celebrate when you have paid off another £500. Just don't celebrate by buying more food
Don't forgot your list or you'll be in trouble....
Enjoy the rest of your weekend0 -
:rotfl: thanks Bear
I certainly wont. I need to get back into meal planning ASAP.
I have planned meals up to Thursday so far so its a start
The ironing is calling me
