Why don't you sue him for your money?

I can't sue him for my money because I don't even know if he has it. I don't know the details of the claim lodged on my behalf with Irish EU Small claims procedure.

I'd like to try Action Fraud. How would I do this?

Ask the airline if they have paid out on your claim or not. If they have, sue him for it. And if they haven't, sue the airline for it. If neither is responding, sue them both as joint parties.

The Action Fraud route is not going to get you any money.

It seems that Aer Arran was taken over by Stobart Group so at least they now have a UK address and I can use UK small claims court.
  • Hi,
Does anyone know how to recover flight delay compensation claimed by EU DELAY?
    Thanks
  • If you know that it has been received by EUDELAY the only way is to pursue the matter through the Courts. I obtained a CCJ against the company in July but haven't seen any funds yet. My next course of action is to ask the county court bailiffs to enforce judgment. My case cannot be handed to the high court sheriffs because the sum is under £600.

    Morning,

An update for you all, I reported Jakub Kotan to Action Fraud months ago,
Action Fraud initially sent a letter saying they were aware of the situation, but there was nothing they could do, but yesterday I received an email advising "they have review the information and have reopened an investigation package, and the report has been sent to trading standards".

It been nearly a year since he received my funds now, and he has stopped replying to me via email. Action Fraud are now it seems taking action, its taken months.

Ill keep you update, as I when I hear more.

Has anyone else had any further communication with him ? Any luck/outcome with the small claims court ?

I managed to obtain a CCJ in July but no funds as yet.

    Did you contact Action Fraud?

It seems really disappointing that Action Fraud appear not to be interested despite the fact that clients are having to obtain CCJs to get hold of their money.
