Hi, I'm just about to start the process of small claims against EU Delay & Jakub Kotan, I've been waiting for my money since last August, were you successful in receiving your funds ?

I contacted the West Sussex police and action fraud, they were both aware of the company and Jakub Kotan but there was nothing they could do, have you had any luck receiving your funds ?

I'm in the same position, empty promise after promise from Kotan. He no longer responds to emails or answers the phone. Looks like I may have to progress to a court. Action fraud were informed but don't seem to bothered. How ITE not fraud is beyond me!

He's had my money since may 2015

Sorry, only just seen these latest posts.
I made the claim, then asked for judgement, which was done on the 22nd June....guess what? I've not heard a thing :mad: but I read that Kotan used different addresses, I used this one:

Does anyone have a different address? I saw somewhere on google that there was a Redhill address.

I don't know what to do next as the website of Money Claim Online is not clear. You can request a warrant, but I have no idea what that means. I am disinclined to spend any further money.

That is the business address registered with companies house.
Unfortunately you may need to spend more money to enforce the judgement to gain whats due to you.
Kutan could still apply for setaside as well, as a stalling tactic....

What's a setaside ? How does that stall proceedings ? How much more money are they asking you for to continue proceedings ?


I Google imaged that address and it looks like apartment's (maybe his home).


This is a nightmare for all concerned, he must have thousands upon thousands of peoples money, and yet they are still trading online.

If a judgement is found against the defendant, by default, the defendant can apply to have the judgement setaside and a hearing arranged. However they do have to show the court/judge good reason why the summons was not replied to.

EUDelay lodged my case against Aer Arran in the Irish court using EU Small claims procedure. I don't know the status of the claim and they don't respond to any queries. Any idea what I should do?

An update for you all, I reported Jakub Kotan to Action Fraud months ago,
Action Fraud initially sent a letter saying they were aware of the situation, but there was nothing they could do, but yesterday I received an email advising "they have review the information and have reopened an investigation package, and the report has been sent to trading standards".


It been nearly a year since he received my funds now, and he has stopped replying to me via email. Action Fraud are now it seems taking action, its taken months.


Ill keep you update, as I when I hear more.


Has anyone else had any further communication with him ? Any luck/outcome with the small claims court ?

I've not heard from Kotan for months, action fraud also dismissed my complaint. Hopefully they'll reopen it!
