  • I too have been duped by this guy. He was paid my compensation from easyjet in August 2015 and since then I have made phone calls sent emails and letters and have received nothing. Khitai even had the cheek to send me an invoice know I g full well he wasn't going to pay me. He had pocketed over £4000 from my claim.
I have spoken to the legal ombudsman but they are unable to help. Surely this is a fraud and a matter for the police?
Have you had any further news on your claim?

  • I am another one who has not been paid despite promises he would.
Luckily my claim is only small, and I am not out out pocket, but I will be chasing him again today, by phone, as emails get no reply.
Thanks for the advice to go to Small Claims, I will look into that

  • Do not pay him a penny at all, he is a complete crook who will lie through his teeth and feed you all the bull**** you need to hear, but then the money wont arrive in your bank.
You shouldn't have to pay any fees though, as it should be deducted from the money due (If you didn't pay the court fees, you could've signed a waiver with EUDelay which I done, so they took a but extra off me).
If you look at my messages on page 2, follow them and threaten him with Court (start proceedings if you want) and play him back at his own game, because once I started putting on a lot of pressure, with calls pretty much every other day, I finally received some of the money.
Also worthwhile asking him what solicitors dealt with this, once I found that out I contacted them direct and they also looked into it and advised when payment was made to EUDelay (mine was with Ryanair, so Irish solicitors).

Just persevere with him, you will finally get it, but I know its a nightmare.

Well on Monday 23rd May I issued a Money Claim Online - this replaced the Small Claims Court as far as I can see - and of course have heard nothing since so today I have asked for a Judgement and asked for the money owing to me to be paid by 30th June.
It will be interesting to see if I get anything but I don't hold out a lot of hope.
The way I see it, I think I would not have won by claiming directly from Ryanair - I have experience with Easyjet  - so I am only out of pocket by the £25 it cost me to lodge the claim and it will be a learning curve.
