The number I used today was 03337592147.
  • Sky seem to have a new tactic they are employing. I've been a Sky customer for 21 years and usually haggle a deal. I'm coming to the end of my current contract and was due to call them to renegotiate. I received an email today telling me that my deals were coming to an end but there's no need to call them because they've given me a year of new deals saving £216 without needing to call them or to enter a new contract.

However when I logged onto my Sky account to see the new deal, it actually increases my monthly costs from £77.50 to £101.50.

So I'll be calling them after all.

    Be aware!

Others have reported similar "offers" of much reduced discounts.. Presumably enough people accept these/don't haggle to make it a worthwhile tactic for Sky.

I've just signed up for 18 months, my updated price for renewal was £53, rather than £101.

Though it did say, save £261 over the 18 months.  Ive taken screen shots just in case it doesnt reduce that far.
  • My sky cuts off on Monday.  I have signature , HD, sports, BT sport  and multiroom.  Since my contract expired my bill has gone from £75 to £92.  My offers on chat have been £86  then £80. I had a review your options message and got offered £72.  Today I had another message and was offered £69 .
Although its cheaper than my previous deal , it's still a lot at the moment. Wondering what I could realistically expect to be offered.  Alternatively could I reduce to signature and multiroom and hope to get sports on an offer later.
We're currently in the same boat - did you get a better offer in the end?

    thank!!
  • I haggled by cancelling as it was going up to over £80 a month. I received an offer letter a couple of weeks later and now have Sky Q, Sky cinema, sky sports, Ultimate TV add on (Netflix) Ultra HD for £38 a month for 18 months.
  • Sky will not budge on my Fibre deal.  Out of contract but paying £27.50 a month (which includes the useless Sky Broadband Buddy app).
Told them I can get plusnet for £23.99 a month, and they will not move as said I was on the best deal already. This was with the 'Loyalty team'
If the world is a stage... I want better lighting!

How did you get it that low?
I need some help with mine.

I have asked several times & they’ll only reduce my bill by £8 per month to £75.
Been with them over 20 years & can’t get Virgin or anyone else in my area.

    Can anyone help with this?

They won’t budge on lowering the price whereas before they did some good deals to keep me.

If I go ahead & cancel, what happens with offers etc to stay?

You need to put in cancellation notice - and be prepared to be without Sky for a period. Offers usually come in the notice period but no guarantees - best offers after the service has been switched off.
