From what I can work out in the small print, HD would be another £8. Cinema is quoted as an extra £6, Netflix £5 or BT Sport £28.
Right - so Signature plus Sports in HD would be ~ £36pm - not bad - I'm currently paying £38pm for that
  • I have been haggling with Sky today and have been getting random prices depending on who I have been talking with. For example, Retentions have offered £82, Live chat £78.50 and then £67. This is what is on my package below:

    Sky Signature + Sky Q
    Sky Sports
    Sky HD
    Sky Superfast Broadband.

I have been paying £60 for the above. Is the £67 similar to everyone else?

Latest SMS from Sky; “Hello, just to let you know in 2 days you'll no longer be able to watch Sky TV. To hear your options and continue watching, call us on 03337594451”

Went for the deal today over the phone, they added HD sports without even asking (then they can price walk it when the next increase occurs of course), everything else SD. Also, free upgrade to Sky Q (mentioned the Sky+ HD box was faulty - which it is). Plus a credit for the wait between getting the installer to do the upgrade to Sky Q.

So it will be Sky Q, Sky Signature, Sky Sports HD for £27 a month for minimum term of 18 months. Would have been paying £64 ish without going through all this!
  • Just cancelled by phone. No attempt to change my mind or offer any deals.

Hopefully get a call back within the 31 days.

Was paying £89.50 for Sky Signature, Sky kids, Sky HD, Multi-screen, Ultra HD, Sky Talk Anytime and "Superfast" broadband which i think is a lot considering no Sports, Cinema, Netflix.

I do think it's strange that Sky still charge for 'Sky HD' in 2022!

I'm in the same position.  Was paying £86.75 for Signature, Ultimate, Kids, Sports, Cinema, HD, Multi and Superfast broadband.

Phoned twice and they dropped the broadband down to £20.  But the TV went from £58.75 to £84 for a total cost of £104.

If I stayed out of contract the TV would have been £83.50, so cheaper than their best offer.

    No option but to cancel.

Online chat with Luke details copied from chat
    Sky Signature at £15 a month (that's a £17 discount with an 18-month contract)
    Netflix at £5 (that's a £1 discount)
    HD at £4 (that's a £4 discount)

That brings your total to £24 a month

Your offers will start straight away today, and a one-off admin fee of £10 will be added to your next bill and waived when I asked for a discount.

*cinema would be a further £6*
    *sports a further £12*
  • Currently have sky q with sky signature, hd, sports , bt and multiroom paying £75.  Contract ends this month so going up to £92.  I emailed to cancel, had callback today , got offered same package for £86, then £80 final offer.  Turned it down so now on 31 days notice.  I am hoping for a really good deal this time with all other bills up so much. May actually even go to disconnecting this time,  will wait to see if I get any offers  .

My end of contract offer was an increase of £56.50 pm.  Phoned and got a reduction to only an extra £33 pm.  Spoke to cancellations and the increase is now only £2 pm. Very satisfied despite being on the phone for over 30 mins.

How early can you call up to haggle with Sky? My next bill is due on the 25th May for £57.50 (my current price for TV, Netflix, Movies, UHD and fibre), but in June jumps to £76.76, then £109.50 in July. I thought my contract was up in July, but seems I'm having a hefty rise in June too?

Was considering just sacking off Sky entirely for the HD Netflix package (£11) and Talk Talk 150 for £32 a month - which works out cheaper than what I currently pay, and I mostly just watch on demand stuff and Freeview channels anyway. Reckon Sky would come close to that?
