just been offerered £18/month for signature, £16 full sports HD, £2.50 kids plus £10 admin fee. Told them I would think about it. Has anyone else had better deal0

That sounds reasonable that, maybe couple of quid off sports and tell them you’re not paying an admin fee. Kids could possibly get for £1.paul2louise said:just been offerered £18/month for signature, £16 full sports HD, £2.50 kids plus £10 admin fee. Told them I would think about it. Whooaaaaa!!!Just checked my sky package as knew I was coming to the end of my contract, and see that my fees increased from £73 to £136 2 months ago.I wasnt informed of this, is there anything I can do other than cancel? I'm a Sky Gold VIP member, if that means anything0

Woohoo!!! Using the "my deals" link from this thread I can get signature, sports, movies and HD for £42 (after cancelling yesterday)
Been on to sky chat and one advisor said they couldn't get to that and that he thought it included my current deals, and if I accepted via mydeals page my prices would go back up when my offers end in Julyy.
The other advisor said it was glitch in the system and to accept it ?! Don't know what to believe, no-where does it say these are temporary offers, it literally says 18 month contract and new price of £420 -
Hi, how soon does the link www.sky.com/mydeal become active? I click on it and it says page not found. Sky ends 27th June, had text and everything to say I have cancelled. Not seen any info ref deal as of yet. I was on full package with extra sky box.0

Sometimes it doesn't become available. I don't know under what circumstances, but the last time I cancelled Sky (about this time last year, as it happens), /mydeal never worked for me. Didn't even work for about two weeks after my subscription ended.slewis1972 said:Hi, how soon does the link www.sky.com/mydeal become active? I click on it and it says page not found. Thanks, whats the case then, contact them via chat. If I click the link I get a url like : https://secure.sky.com/mysky-comeback/pending-cancel/choose-pack?c=9VFEJ5JL&DCMP=dmc-skycom:ec_my_deal
With page not found. So suspecting its creating package maybe. The deal they offered me was not alot off.0 -
If My Deal isn't showing, it could be a technical issue, or perhaps you're one of the ones for whom they've decided to try and call your bluff. They do occasionally decide not to offer anything to try and get the customer to break first. Like I say, last time around My Deal didn't work for me at all. I had one text message conversation invite during my last month with a crappy offer, and it was probably 4 weeks after my Sky had been switched off before they sent a winback letter through the post with something reasonable.slewis1972 said:Thanks, whats the case then, contact them via chat. Personally, I have no idea what metrics they use, but I'd imagine if you contact them first, they're probably not going to give you the best offer because you'll be demonstrating you're not that committed to leaving. I also think if you have regularly managed to negotiate discounts in the past, they get less and less likely to give you one until you demonstrate you're willing to move on by letting Sky get switched off for a bit.She would always like to say,
