Heres Vodafones T&C, Clause 7a
a) We reserve the right to increase/decrease our charges from time to time and/or introduce new charges from time to time. If we increase/decrease our charges, we will give you at least 14 days' prior notice.

I know people who did cancel with that change, Vodafone try to fob you off at first, you have to be persistent! Networks will tell you black is white.
As one of the other posters said, that clause is basically unenforceable as its openended & therefore potentially unfair to consumers. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
as working for vodafone myself and dealing with the issue i can easily say no one was able to get out of therfore contract by that clause
i dont think anyone went to court tho for MMS0 -
Vodaphone can put what they like in their terms and conditions but as they themselves note:
"b) If you are a consumer, the terms of this Agreement will not affect any rights which you may have under any Act of Parliament and which cannot be excluded by agreement."
If Vodaphone degrade your service then they are in breach of contract and you have the right to cancel. They will of course try to blag you into thinking otherwise but a court would decide in your favour.Join the Sarcasm Appreciation Society.

I watch this with interest, as it was one of the selling points given to me by the retention department at CPW when I rang to cancel in April.Hark at you going all strict0

Well not much point me getting out of my contract as I'll lose some of my cashback!
But maybe once I've got it I will do!0 -
so if this is true is it worth getting a cpw/o2 contract with a decent phone with a mind to cancelling when these charges come into force?ummm...0

or maybe a "pricematch" deal on o2 from e2save, so if it doesnt happen you still have the cashback aspect to fall back on.ummm...0
