calling so sorry to hear about your friend.
bob no more firm bookings yet, but have arranged to have a stall at a big event in Novemeber where I will be able to both sell items and promote my business. Have also made progress setting up my own website, so all steps in the right direction.
Had a great day today. We also went to see the rugby team arrive up North. DS met 2 of the players a few years ago and they bought him a teddy! So he was mega excited to see them again! We made the most of the free face painting, circus skills, egg cup making etc that was all going on too.
We also have free tickets to watch the rugby training session tomorrow and me and DS qualified for tickets for the evening q&a session too, so it's fair to say we are a bit rugby mad here at the moment.
DS got handed a leaflet for a training session that is coming up with the North Wales rugby team. It's £20 a day or £60 for the full 4 day camp. He was going to pay £20 out of his own savings to do 1 day, so we have come to an arrangement that we will contribute £20, as will his grandad so he can do the whole thing. It will come out of our days out fund.0 -
Hi all
Congratulations Wishus on your triathlon, you must be fit.
Another sfd so 5 now, in fact I haven't been out at all today as I had a terrible night, in the end at 4.30am I came downstairs and sat reading until I fell asleep and then didn't wake up until 12.30 !!!! with a headache and backache from the settee. Anyway went for a walk tonight so feeling OK now and going up to bed in a minute as I look after dgd tomorrow for the morning. Hopefully I can get another sfd tomorrow.

Good morning turtles!
Sorry to hear about your friend calling. Hugs.
Congratulations on your stretch target Bob.
Woke up at 4:30 this morning for a nature call, opened the window and the curtain and left the bedroom door open and went back to sleep. At around 6:30 am I was suddenly awakened and immediately thought, who left the lights on? I was annoyed that somebody was not being economical and left the lights on, only to realise it's the bright sunlight streaming through. Went to sleep again until hubby woke me up just after 7am reminding me of my early shift. Did the usual routine, shower, prepare packed lunch, and went to work, thinking I was 10 minutes late. Did the mad rush driving to prevent further tardiness. When I walked in to my work place, my colleague remarked, "You're early!" I said, "No I'm not, I'm actually a couple of minutes late." Then she said, "It's only 8am." Then the penny dropped. I'm on a 9-5 shift today so I was indeed an hour early. What a senior moment! I won't be able to live it down today, that would be the entertainment in the department and I am the clown. I blame the sudden change of shifts (from night shift to early shift) and my husband who was breathing down my neck this morning telling me I'm late when I'm not. I could have had a decent breakfast, instead I drove like a maniac trying not be late. Never mind. I'm now sitting in the staff room having a cuppa.
I'm hoping for NSD today, but will declare it later when it is safe in the bag. Wish you all a good MSE day. Till later."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -

Well that's my wee holiday over, heading back up on the bus just now. I had a lovely time - lots of catching up with family and friends, plenty sleep, my mum's cooking and best of all I spent less than £30. I''ll claim 4 NSDs for the time I was away as it was under budget. Today won't be one as I'll need to go food shopping when I get back.
I've made a £6.23 payment to the debt today and my loan repayment goes out tomorrow so that will be another £200ish.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Woo hoo my party booking just converted. That's a straight £60 to use for debt repayment. Plus they want adult catering for 20 and a cake. On the day that should be worth around another £200 including coffees and teas:j:j
One of my lovely local customers also just came in and spent a nice fat £30 on cakes and things to go.
Happy days!
