Congratulations to debt freeness, anniversaries and the end of the month. Not a sfd for me as dd and I went out walking and I treated us to an icecream, but I still have a couple of pounds left in purse to put away, roll on to the new month tomorrow.

Hi everyone!
Had a productive day to end the month. Done the weekly shop, but it will come from September's budget as that's when it will be used. Cooked a roast chicken dinner and prepped and froze loads of veggies for future meals. Have about a months supply of red cabbage!! Plus potatoes ready to roast and carrots ready to heat. Also made up 2 extra dinners to go in the freezer to use as 'ready meals'. Made stock from the carcass too so that will become either soup or risotto tomorrow. Oh, and almost forgot, froze 2 portions of gravy. Doesn't make up for my over spends the last few days but at least September will be off to a good start!0 -
Congratulations tog.
Many thanks for the wonderful challenge academiablues.
So pleased about your holiday Fmess.
Sorry I sort of imploded mid-month. A few things happened all at once and it has been a struggle to get back in balance. I brought two small kitchen cupboards from the other house yesterday and the first of the large shrubs in pots today so slowly slowly starting to improve physically. Two weeks ago when I brought the first cupboard by bus I couldn't do anything for two days, so walking both ways (with a sit down in between) is definitely progress.
I will not be joining the September challenge. I will read along, may post occasionally and I want to follow some parts of the challenge but I am not in a good place atm. September will bring many challenges starting with finding some money for food, hope to keep things on an even keel but paying off anything extra is out of the question for now.
Keep going turtles, you are all amazing.
Today I am grateful for being able to walk, for an offer of a lift by two young men (they were going the wrong way) and for DS3 (mostly living in quiet harmony). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
