No Bob, I'm home until tomorrow morning when it gets removed. Thankfully. I'm so uncomfortable, I can't imagine being in a ward full of people whilst I can't sleep!

Yes I sympathise. Hospital can be a really bad environment when you are desperately tired and wanting to sleep but the noise of others plus all the observation checks means you don't get any.

I hope your night wasn't too awful.

Thanks for checking in with me Bob and lincs - last night was absolutely horrible - I felt like someone was continuously pouring acid down my throat but I wasn't allowed to sit up as they wouldn't have got accurate readings about what happens when I'm asleep so I had to grin and bear it, and write a diary everytime I woke up and had a sip of water or had a 'symptom' so the light was on and off. Bothered me more than OH though, who didn't notice a thing!

Got to the hospital and had the tube taken out which was fairly painless thankfully, but mixed with the lack of sleep over the last few days I curled up on my parents sofa and dozed for most of the day after we got back.

Woke up to my mom watching the races and had an outstanding couple of £ in my ladbrokes account so put a random bet on Cheltenham and won £20 :j happy days! I've tried to withdraw it so we will see how long that takes and it can go off the MBNA card.

I ended up leaving my parents place a bit late and had to stop 3 times to be sick on the way home so was late picking OH up so he was in a foul mood, complete with door slamming and ultimate stroppiness - put the heating on full blast as he was cold which meant that I overheated and ended up being sick again. After the last few days I really wasn't in the mood so pulled up outside the house, told him to get out and then went for a drive to try and calm down. It really upset me, which I know is partly to do with my tiredness - normally I wouldn't let his moods get to me so much.

Anyway he has put dinner in the oven and brought me a drink which is his way of apologising so I'm going to try and chill.

Aawww bless you hun. Sometimes men aren't very good at displaying how concerned they are about us so they react by being jerks, not making excuses for oh though he owes you an apology especially when he knows what you've been through over the past 24 hours. Big hugs hun

Sorry you've had a bit of a rubbish day, and I really hope that you're in bed and sleeping soundly, and that tomorrow is a better day.
At least it's done with and they can get their data and hopefully help you out xx

God it sounds an awful night. You poor thing. And sorry you've been so sick since. It's a shame OH wasn't much more sympathetic.

Thanks all :) I feel a lot better today, still being sick but it's easing off - only twice this morning and twice during the night.

OH is being a bit of a pain at the moment, he did sit and have a bit of a talk about it last night and didn't apologise as he rarely does but he did put some lightshades up that I'd bought which was his way of brushing it under the carpet.

Now back to the grindstone - I was only off for 2 days and I've come back to one person being sacked for a failed drug test and 257 emails

God know what will happen when I'm in Morocco!

Glad you're feeling a bit better today, sorry oh is being a bit of a pain at the moment. They're funny creatures sometimes and they say women are difficult to understand.
    What a nightmare about work.
When do you go to Morocco?
