Aw Kirsty :grouphug:
Sorry to hear about the gynae - honestly, some people just need a lesson in working with people. Particularly when they actually work with people. So sorry. I wonder if it's worth you contacting the PALS team at the hospital?
Hope you're feeling ok this morning. xNot giving up

Thanks ccl, I'm feeling ok about it at the moment, I don't want to complain necessarily as I understand that each gynae has their own specialism and he was quite honest that his is pelvic floor problems rather than endometriosis, I just don't think I should ever have been referred to him.
Ah well, the good news continues as OHs bonus came through today - less than half than he was expecting so he's not too happy....and I'm never going to get a ring if these things keep happening :rotfl:
And I'm still in a great mood - the lovely lady at work bought me prosecco, flowers and a balloon and decorated my desk (whilst I was sat at it as I came in 1.5 hours early today :rotfl:) with confetti, banners and posters. So lovely! I've worked in a male environment so long that it was completely unexpected!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

You don't have endo, it's just IBS and period pains is a classic s**tty things doctors say. Once a GP told me I wished I had PCOS. Who would wish for that?! I think it's part of the training. Now trainee doctors we are going to do your gynaelogical training. The first lesson tell people they're overdramatic/weak it's normal
2 - blame it on a different department
3 - ask ridiculous embarrassing personal questions without listening and ignore everything you've heard
Put it out of your head and go to a bgce centre next time. Yay for all the birthday treats! You're being very spoilt!

Well I'm now 30!! Had a lovely night out with OH last night - he arranged for the waitress to bring a bottle of prosecco with a huge firework sparkler attached to the bottle - was lovely
Woke up this morning and was up and about by 7.30 as the patio door installers have been cutting out the wall...not good with a prosecco head
OH has told me there will be surprises throughout the day so we will see what they are - so far I've had a bottle of prosecco hidden in the fridge, a box of my favourite chocolates and a new pair of slippers, then the door rang and there was a flower delivery from my favourite florist
Off to my parents later who have planned some sort of family meal out with family coming down from Liverpool area to celebrate with me, but that's all I know - no idea where, what to wear, what time etc!
Off to update my totals as I've had my regular DDs come out today, and rejigging my figures always makes me happy:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Well my birthday is officially over! I had a fabulous time, and some amazing memories now.
Patio doors look amazing!! We had a day of DIY on Friday, then I went off to my parents and we went out for a meal with family and friends to a local steak pub where they do exotic meats like ostrich, wild boar and water buffalo. I had a lovely fillet and then had an early night...on an air bed duct taped to a sofa bed as someone told my parents their sofa bed was uncomfortable so Dad was trying to make sure we were comfortable.
My oldest group of friends turned up at my parents on Saturday Morning (OH announced he was going to get stuff to make me breakfast and didn't come back for almost 2 hours - he'd done a round robin and picked them all up in a hired people carrier) and said they were kidnapping me.
Fast forward an hour (and a bottle of prosecco out of my friends sons plastic toddler cups ) and we arrived at a spa in Oswestry where we did saunas, solarium, snow room, jaccuzzi, a lovely lunch (with more prosecco....) and I had a lovely facial - completely relaxed! Until we went home and had to start the DIY again
Sunday we got up, I got called out to an emergency intruder alarm at work and then it was party prep and more DIY! The house looks amazing now though...managed to finish a fantastic night with a blazing row with OH though, he stayed on the sofa and we didn't speak until Monday afternoon. I was upset that I asked for something I could keep for my birthday, and it turned out he decided slippers were a better plan. I didn't want him to spend a fortune but he had gone out on Thursday night and bought slippers and chocolates because he didn't have anything else planned and realised he'd left it a bit late - I got upset that he put so little thought into my birthday, and that coupled with a few other things meant I just lost it - it got very nasty at one point and if I hadn't had a drink I'd have driven to my parents.
He can't understand that it's nothing to do with how much or little he spent, it's the thought - in fact my favourite present cost very little but is so special - a pendant with Auntie etched on one side, and my niece/nephews scan picture on the other - perfect for me, I love keepsakes!
Anyway, things are still very strained so maybe a tough week as we try and work out what keeps going wrong between us.
Thanks for all the birthday messages - it's so lovely to have such lovely people around me - both on here and in RL:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
