    Thanks lincs

I know Kitten, it's driving me mad! It's one thing after another at the moment but we will get there!

Thanks Bob, I actually work with a brilliant accountant at work so I may well ask his advice - OHs brother is actually an accountant himself so he has said he will help out but because he's so far away it may be more difficult. He has had a quick look and said that apparently they have listed him as an income tax payer rather than PAYE - which is double dutch to me but hopefully we can sort - he may still have to pay the penalties though - we need to appeal

On the upside it's payday today and I have paid off the BT fees and a little extra - my aim was to be under 16K before Friday and I think I will just about scrape under 15.5K instead!! :D

We did some bits with the house over the weekend - changed a few rooms around, put some pictures up, changed the bathroom accessories and we are off to ikea tonight for a bathroom cupboard - it's really starting to feel like ours :D

I love ikea but I find myself getting lost in there for hours :rotfl: usually eyeing up the kitchens! I'll let you know if I managed to stick to just the bathroom cupboard :o we have a house fund anyway so what we do get will be coming out of that luckily :)

I'm due to hit 13.5K in July Kitten, all being well so hopefully I'll manage to beat that target anyway. It's starting to feel like I am really getting somewhere - I'm just dreaming of the day I get under 10K which should be Jan 2017 :D

Spoke to my parents last week too, and asked them if they would do me a huge favour and lend me the money to pay off what is remaining in April next year when they are due a payout, and I pay them back interest free. They won't be in a position to help until then but it's a massive weight off my mind - everything is on 0% apart from my loan but that feels like it's taking ages to get anywhere so hopefully I'll be able to start to really see a difference once I'm paying off only capital :D it should be paid off 2 years early!

That's fantastic news! It really does lighten the load when you owe it to a person rather than an institution. The only thing that niggles me is that you can't pad a person. No more £3.79 overpayments at midnight on a Sunday lol I'm not sure if I'm going to be better off having a saving account to chuck my odds in then transfer it over when I get to £50? What do you think? Xxx

I didn't think of that Kitten  I'll have to PAD into a savings account and pay them once a month! It's a good call to do it when it hits a certain amount. Although maybe I can stretch myself to pay them and then ease my PADing urges by PADing the mortgage instead....hmmmmm.

Had a lovely time at Ikea! We had budgeted £100 for a standalone tall cupboard for the bathroom, a bathroom mirror with shelf and some photoframes for my photo wall. The cupboard I had my heart set on was £75, which was difficult to justify spending that amount on...even if it was perfect, so I moped down to the bargain corner and what do i find but my cupboard!! Ex display with no damage so I got it for £55 :j

Then we got home and rearranged our dining room as we are having a patio door installed on Friday so trying to clear the space...easier said than done!! Bathroom looks amazing though :) our bathroom is huge, it's such a waste of space - you could get a double bed in there even with the bath/toilet etc, I'd love to shrink it and have an extra (very small!) room for a study or even nursery one day hopefully....I think I just need to resign myself to moving house though!

Oh lincs, I feel for you! I love Ikea! It;s great to lose half a day just wandering around and planning my dream home :D

I'm quite disciplined at the moment ccl, in the past Ikea was a weakness (one of many!) - I went once for some photo frames and cutlery and came home with a chest of drawers and 2 wardrobes

My loan payment has come out this morning and a tcb payment cleared so £14.00 to barclaycard :D all heading in the right direction....although I have to go and draw the money out for the patio door later which will be upsetting - the balance on our joint account looks so healthy at the moment :o

So true Kitten! When I think of all the TCB I missed out on pre-LBM, it kills me! I can't wait for the patio doors to be in - it's the first big thing we have managed to sort having done and it will make such a difference - there is only a window there at the moment and garden access is by squeezing past washing machine and dryer in the lean to....can't get any tools out there or anything!

Had an appt with my new gynae yesterday, hence not being around last night - I was gutted. I won't be seeing him again. He basically said there are a few symptoms which in his words 'medical school taught me aren't related to endometriosis' even though every endometriosis awareness site and support group lists them as symptoms. He said my pain can't be related to my endo as I get bloated (called endo belly by the support groups) and that can only be caused by my bowel. Told me to go to the toilet more often and eat more fibre
He didn't even look at the scan results and when I mentioned PCOS to him, he said oh well that's not causing your pain.

Long story short I'm having more temporary menopause injections even though my bone density results 2 years ago were bad enough for them to say I couldn't have any more but have made an appt with my GP to get referred to Birmingham Womens Hospital where they have an endometriosis specialist centre.

I decided to have a mope last night and be angry and then forget about it from today as I REALLY want to enjoy my birthday. We are going to a lovely restaurant tonight as some 'us' time before the patio door and then my mad familys birthday celebrations tomorrow!

So today I am happy and excited and not letting anything get me down :D
