    Morning MSE World!

Well my little canine friend arrived about an hour ago and has run around trying to find my Mom since she got here. I've tried feeding her, giving her a treat but she avoids food when my mom isn't around so need to work on that.

Mom and Dad turned up with fillet steaks for our valentines night tonight as a thank you for watching the dog - much appreciated but not necessary - she is technically my dog so it's not like I'm doing them a favour!

Going to take her for a walk later. If I have a reason for getting out and about I find it easier to concentrate on that.

Really sorry to hear about your anxiety Kirsty. Has anything happened recently outside the home that could be affecting you?

I really can't think of anything Bob, with the exception of my fall last month.

I have been like this previously. Then it was usually when I was on a downward spiral which is my concern at the moment. I feel ok in myself though. I am concerned and a little anxious about money but no real reason why, I'm doing better in terms of budgets than I ever have, but now that we are looking at cars I'm a bit stressed about it. Perhaps that's part of the problem but is more recent than my anxiety so it might be exacerbating it but isn't the cause.

Hope you're enjoying the dog Kirsty, they are so funny. :D

I've never had a panic attack but know a few people who have and it sounds horrible. :( I'm a real worrier and that's bad enough. Hope you're feeling better soon & can find the root of the problem, it's good that you're not letting the anxiety stop you doing things though. *hugs*

It's been lovely! I really miss having a dog around the house. Definitely on the to do list for the future. We've been on a couple of quite long walks - for her. She's a bit of a mongrel - yorkie/toy poodle so shes only got little legs and I think she's quite worn out after 2 days with us - 2 sets of stairs in the house has confused her too :rotfl:

On one of the walks yesterday, I was going to take her round the block but OH said he'd rather go somewhere else so we went to a tiny local town and walked around window shopping (although I did spend £1.99 on dentastix as her breath stinks!!) and we wandered past my favourite florist, at which point OH said I should go in and have a look round. I wasn't going to as I love having flowers in the house but it isn't in the budget so waked past, when I turned round he was holding out an order ticket and said I should go and collect my Valentines present :D Lovely big bunch of lilies and roses - my favourites! Not very :money: but it wasn't out of my funds so I'm just enjoying how beautiful they are!

OH got tickets for his favourite band - one of my faves too and because they aren't well known over here, the tickets are only £10 each which is a bargain! Can't wait for that - we will be seeing them twice over a weekend in March, just before we head to Bruges :D

Thanks Sashy, the first two weeks when I felt anxious I avoided my usual weektime commitments and I felt worse hiding away so I'm trying not to.

We are going to look at a car this afternoon which is a reasonable price and the vehicle OH is most keen on (I'm not as fussy) so hopefully it's decent :)
