Have any payments actually been made under these dd mandates yet?

The Halifax has the authority to accept requests for payments from Tesco, but they don't know how much or how often, so that information won't show in the DD information on your Halifax internet banking.

The Halifax Reward is payable on the 1st of the month, and usually shows in your account the next day.

In order to get your reward for July you'll need to pay in £750, and have 2 dd payments actually made - it's not enough just to mandates ready for payment.
    Hi, It gets more confusing.
There has not been any money taken from my Halifax reward, I don't know why,?.
I set up my reward A/c and 2 DD's for £10, before I switched on the 12th June. Before the switch I had 1 DD set up with Nationwide, £10 , which was switched,ok,with the a/c, but has since disappeared from Hfax..
I had the letter from Hfax saying switch complete, 1 DD tesco and A/cand , £200 given.on the 14th june
.I checked Hfax, and 2 DD's were set up,but no amount or date.? I thought that would be remedied, but not so,nothing taken, so no fiver, for June..
Having noticed no £5 for this month, also, I tried to reactivate the first 2, amount and date, but, set another 2 instead, just 2 days ago, for £10 per month starting 31st,( earliest date), but, Hfax is still showing no date or amount.? Now got 4 DD's with no date or payment amount, showing in Hfax, yet in Tesco, it's showing 2 DD's for £10 on the 31st,not 4, as Hfax have got.?
I have Tesco DD's with with Lloyds, TSB, and Santander, only Hfax is a problem.
I will just have to wait until the 31st,as NOH says, and see if Tesco take it this month.? then phone if not.
I am paying in £800, and taking £750 out a few days later, June and July.

I don't think anything will show at the Halifax end until Tesco take one or two payments.

When first set up on my Lloyds account, it just said unknown, but my Halifax ones have been going a while now and give the amount, the frequency and the date last paid.

Until at least 2 have been requested, Halifax will not have sufficient information to fill in the frequency box.

I think you need to contact Tesco about it if it doesn't work as it should.

If my recent experience with TSB is anything to go by, they'll know (and present the information) after the first pull. I can't see Halifax being any different.

4 are showing on Halifax because you have submitted 4 mandates.

The Halifax will only show amount and frequency once they have been taken - they gather this data from the activity on your account. As they have not been taken yet, they have no data to input into these fields.

I have found with Tesco when setting up DD's, they tell you that DD's cannot be set up for 10 days but I personally didn't notice they were giving me the calender for the following month so the initial DD's came out a month later than I expected. Only telling you this bit in case you have all 4 of the DD's leave in August.

The mandates are showing as you have linked the halifax reward to your tescos account but as others have said they have to pay out each calendar month and the £750 credited to get the £5 reward which is paid on the 2nd of the following month backdated to the 1st.

in relation to the frequency and amount this will populate once the first payment is made. I would also bring the date forward because if the 31st is a weekend or a bank holiday (as it is in august) then it wont be taken till the next bank working day which will be the next calendar month.

Hi, Probably they will pay all 4 in same month, in fact it should be 5, they switched 1, but, that isn't showing at all.?
    Have to cancel some then.:rotfl:
They should have pulled the first 2 on 21 st june, 10 days after setting up..I didn't check, so I lost the £5.My fault for not checking I suppose.
I will wait until 31st, see what happens.
With TSB et.al, showed straight after first pull.

My DDs pulled Today & Yesterday for the first time (from Lloyds). The "Amount" is now filled but the "Frequency" is still "Not Known". I guess it takes 2 months until the frequency is filled as someone mentioned.
    Mortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
    Cashback sites: £900 | £30k in 2016: £30,300 (101%)

    Hi Dird , Thanks.
In my case , none pulled at all, resulting in £5 loss for june, and possibly July.I presume you stipulated monthly with Lloyds, ( frequency) .?
My lloyds shows Monthly, and amount, I upped all the amounts with TSB, Lloyds, from £1 to Different amounts, a few months ago, for obvious reasons.;) and they pulled no problems the next time the DD came round.

just received a 'changes to (Halifax Reward) your a/c' letter effective 22/11/15

    REWARD CURRENT ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY
"We are removing two special conditions from the RCA as you no longer need to set up or keep a minimum of two different direct debits on your RCA. To receive the £5 reward payment you still need to pay out a minimum of two direct debits, pay in at least £750 and not have a debit balance during the calendar month"

So the change is ????.... just the word 'different' ????
