I got the same message yesterday, but only after upgrading my phone to a new unofficial ROM (Windows Mobile 6 for HTC Tornados) so I'm wondering if that's the source of the problem. What type of phone do you have?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software with no luck. This was Vyke Lite for Windows Mobile.

No they've definitely made a new version - you need to download it from vyke.com
But like us two you might have a little trouble

Nope I upgraged to the new version of vyke lite by going to the website, logging in and then following the link it sent in the text. It looks like a nice new interface but it just refuses to send any texts. Worst of all it seems to open my connection and be sending data, becasue i am getting charged to my O2 account. I've tried Vyke pro too but it does the same thing - it says online at the top but refuses to send any texts! Ive tried using the international mobile number format but still nada

You'll receive an automated message, which tells you you'll get a proper reply within 36 hours.
1 question though - if you can get Vyke Pro, why do you use Vyke Lite?

Vyke lite only connects when it's sending a message. I know that you can set Vyke Pro to only connect to send but I was always worried I would set it up wrong and end up wasting money pinging then vyke service when no one else I know uses the service (even though I've tried to get my friends on to save us all some money!)

I'll give them an e-mail now. Hope it's sorted soon becasue otherwise I'll be burning through my O2 money about 5 times faster than normal!

I know how you feel! All my friends are either on Pay Monthly or are sceptical and the one person I managed to convince is an acquaintance rather than a friend! That said, he is very much grateful
