I was it every other day usually. I always condition the same time I shampoo. My hair is very fine and I feel it would break easily if I don't condition.

I only was it more often if I go to the gym more often!

Unless you do a lot of sport/physical exercise which makes your scalp sweaty, or you've got greasy teenage hair (!) it shouldn't be necessary to wash your hair every day.

I wash mine every 2-3 days.

I've got fairly long hair and have washed and conditioned it every day for as long as I can remember. I used to use expensive stuff (John Frieda) but decided it was a luxury I couldn't afford and now use Tresemme Naturals and my hair's still in good condition.

Well obviously I shower every day, and I tend to only do a number 2 just before I shower anyway.

I wish my body was that convenient! :o

I wash my hair everyday, I can't stand the feeling of a dirty scalp and it always smells bad to me too if it's not washed, I go running or do an exercise video most mornings and my head gets quite sweaty so it would be gross not to wash it.
I know people say it's bad to wash it everyday and that stripping the natural oils will make it oilier, but it's not particularly oily anyway, I just wash it because I don't like the feeling of an unwashed head lol.
My hair is in great condition - although washing everyday does seem to make my hair dye fade quicker.

Edit to add: I don't think there's anything wrong with washing your hair less often though, it really is something that comes down to personal preference.

Completely agree, my scalp dose not feel right if I don't was every day. I did try hair extensions which where amazing but I struggled as they told me to only wash every week. I managed it once and god it felt horrible.
Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A

(Actually, there's no need to shower every single day either, as long as you wash the 'parts that need washing' daily ;) )

I've never understood people who just wash the necessary parts everyday instead of showering - surely it's much quicker and easier, especially for rinsing yourself off, to just jump in the shower? On the rare occasions I've had a strip wash in the sink instead of having a shower I've managed to splash water all over the bathroom floor...but maybe I'm just doing it wrong :rotfl:

For a lot of us, its not really about whether its necessary to wash our hair every day. I don't need to wash it every day but I like it to feel clean. It won't look dirty if I don't wash it but I'll know it isn't clean, it doesn't feel clean. Same reason I have a shower every morning. Not because I need to but because I want to. Same reason I put clean clothes on every day. Not because I need to but because I want to.

Not for me it isn't. Once I'm under the nice hot running water I stay in there for ages, lol

Regards clothes, there's clothes you change every day, but also things like skirts/trousers/cardigans that you wear for several days, no?
