Update: a call sorted the problem in about 2 minutes so that's great, shame the support chat is basically useless.
It turns out that because the card number was the same, and just the expiry date and ccv were different, the system got itself a bit confused and actually wanted the transaction code from the previous top up rather than the actual latest one I made with the new card (the instructions say code from latest transaction for card number xxxx so that's what I went looking for). Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -

It would have helped if instead of the message saying "from the latest transaction" it actually said "from transaction dated X" at least that way there'd be no doubt as to which to go looking for. And I wasn't asked for it while I was topping up, that went through fine but after topping up I couldn't use my Revolut at all until I'd done the extra card verification thing to unlock my account.
The up thing from it is that I now know that there's no point bothering with the in-app support chat :rotfl:
Edit: At least my new linked debit card doesn't expire for a few years so I shouldn't have to worry about that again for a while yet, by which time they might have tweaked things to de-confuse the system. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
All is not well in Revolut land (again)
Have just updated the app to the latest version... my balance is correct, all my details and linked debit card are correct. However, when I go to "my card" I get presented with the following options: 1) I want a virtual card; 2) I want a physical card and 3) I already have a card. So I click 3 and it seems I have to re-enter the details of my existing physical Revolut card to re-link it to the app - keep getting "unknown error occurred" when doing so. I don't mind giving a new company a chance but getting a bit fed up with the issues TBH.
Anyone else with the same problem? Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -

There was a fault in the new app that showed spends and withdrawals with the GBP amount figure as the local currency amount, but they have noticed and corrected it with a new update within 24hrs.Evolution, not revolution0 -
Ok, but how do I find the PIN for my existing card now ? I know it used to be under "my card" but I haven't got a clue what it might be as I've only used the card for online shopping and was going to take it with me abroad in a few weeks time for cash withdrawal purposes. Right now I'm not particularly likely to bother loading any money on it and taking it with me.Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0

I've just returned from a week's trip to Vancouver and used the card exclusively with no problems. ATM's do charge a fee, though, but that's down to the ATM provider.0

Can only speak for Android version - all is working fine, the app is all OK - to get my Card pin number I click on the pink menu button, bottom right. Then 'my card', then 'show PIN' - the app then asks you to enter your app pin number to see it, but it then shows you the card PIN number on screen.
As I said, that is the Android version and all is OK with it - cannot help with the apple version sorry!0 -

Mine's the Android version which was working as you describe until the latest update (today? yesterday?) Clicking "my card" now gives the 3 options as I've described a few post aboveNow free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
That's weird.
Mine is also the latest, updated in the last couple of days, Android version and it is absolutely fine!
Opening 'My Card' gives me the picture of my card with it's 16 digit code and then the two options 'Show PIN' and 'Block'.
Have you tried calling them - it seems to better than using the app chat system -
