You cant take for granted that yours will be the same as mine but here is my take on it. With mine you send in on month 4 and this is calculated from the date of the contract eg Sept 28th means that you send in the first cashclaim from Jan 28th. The bill you send in is the nearest to the date you send off the claim.

hi Old Gold, so does it mean that if my contract is 31th of May, I should send my claim from 30th of Sept??? and I got a month time to do that right??

    thanks a lot
  • I have got a phone from OSPS on price match deal on 11 June 07 and is on O2.
    Received my first bill on 29 June 07. The bill was for a period 21/06 – 30/06 and 01/07 – 31/07.
Received my second bill on 29 Jul 07 for the period of 01/08 – 31/08.
Received my third bill on 29 Aug 07 for the period of 01/09 – 30/09.

Now, my 120 days is due on 9 Oct 07. When I called up OSPS, I was told to send my 29 Sep 07 which will be for the period of 01/10 – 31/10. Is this correct and what is the time frame for this claim?

Now that I have activated my online billing, will they accept my online bill for a pricematch deal? Should I ask them to send a paper bill?

    Please could you kindly advise?

    Many thanks

  • 1) No to on-line billing! Cancel that immediately!

    2) Your claim can't arrive before 11th October or they are liable to reject it. See if there are window dates on your account on their website to be precise. Also I have put a summary on another thread for central reference!

  • Ok, Any bill you send in that window must be no older than 28 days when it arrives
So, in my case, can I send in by 4th bill dated 29th Sep for the period 01/10 - 31/10 after 11 Oct and within 28 days of bill date which will be say before 25th Oct or so??

Please I am trying to get my head around on this. But, please let me know if my understanding is correct?

  • Check the claim window dates on your account for this contract. That should be ok IF they follow the t&c they say they are. The alternative is to send the October bill BUT it would need to get to them by 10th November, which is very tight.
  • Thanks very much mobilejunkie. When I log into my account, there is no details about the claim window. Think, they dont update it for the pricematch deals.

Ive used this 2 for sucessfull claims, as like most i didnt know which bill to send in was it month 4 or month 4 paid:confused: using the dates they gave it turned out to be month 4 paid bill as long as you send it within the window they give and as long as the bill wont be 28 days old when claiming. So i can claim my cashback from 17 oct and my bill is dated 19th of the month and i recieve it about 20/22nd each month so i wait and send that bill in as if i send the earlier bill it could be outdated if not processed within the 2 days if you know what i mean. My first 2 claims have been fine and monies paid;)
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Then as usual you aren't talking about a price-match deal!!
