The RM will forward it to the correct address. You were correct in sending it to the address you were given.
Thanks TREVORCOLMAN. What abt the in the future???which address???0 -
I've asked the same question in the past - consensus is that you send it to the address specified in your paperwork. If you feel the delay in mail being forwarded may invalidate your cashback, then email them and ask if you can send it to the updated address - you then have a named individual who has told you what to do = comeback if they try to wiggle out of paying.I do hope you're telling the truth?0

kfng, have you received your next bill to send in to them yet? I got mine today, so will send it shortly...
however my friend who is doing a different deal with the same people (Cashback Claims) told me yesterday that they have changed their address again.
The new one, for everyone's information, is as follows:
CASHBACK CLAIMS
PO BOX 8840
LOUGHBOROUGH
LE11 9EL
No doubt this is another underhand way to throw us off their scent...
biddwiser, I've got my cheque. have u got urs??? hope u do. 2 down 3 to go.0 -

hey katie,
LBA = letter before action
To whom it may concern.
Letter before action
You have recently refused my first cashback for the mobile phone 079xxxxx, stating "the bill was more than 28 days old (using their wording)".
This is incorrect. My bill was dated x and i have a recorder delivery slip proving i send it on x.
I have tried to contact you by email and phone without response.
I have adhered to the terms and conditions that i agreed to at point of sale.
You have breached the terms and conditions by refusing my claim.
I now expect you to pay £x for the refused claim and £x for all future cashbacks. I expect this to happen within 7 days of receipt of this letter.
If this does not happen within the timescale stated, i will be forced to take this matter to the small claims court.
ANYONE?
what do people think? any suggestions on the wording?
what do you think they will do?
what happens if they agree to pay the first cashback, does that un-breach them?
could kflex still push for the whole amount or just take the first cashback and return to the cashback schedule?
kflex, double check all your dates are correct first, not just the 28 day thing, but every thing else as well.
in fact post your connection date and date you sent your first bill so someone here can double check it first.
hope that helps,
joe
Only suggestion I have is that you should say "payment should be made within 7 days of the date of this letter"
Yours says "7 days from them receiving the letter" They may say it took 28 days to reach them or they have been known to state that they never receive correspondence.
TCI am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -

However when is a 12 month contract not a 12 month contract - when it is with a mobile phone company!
Reason - if you do not cancel at 12 months it will carry on.
I have often wondered what will happen if I cancel my DD after the 12 month point?I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
They'll sue you.0

You don't have to pay by direct debit. They will just continue to bill you. Though most networks do charge extra if you don't pay by direct debit.0 -

I agree with the suggestion. I normally give 10 days from the date of the letter to allow for post times etc. and because I'm nice.
I also always add, "Please note, any monies received after the deadline date will need to includes the costs involved in recovering this debt. If not paid, please wait to be contacted by Moneyclaim Online and act accordingly. Of course you have the right to defend this claim if you feel it's necessary."
It's never failed yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Major result:D I had a claim rejected (no 2) after it arrived late (by 2 days). I subsequently discovered (as many others) that OSPS had changed the address that they dealt with the cashback claims (my contract was actually with E2Save). My claim had been sent to Crewe and when I checked the recorded delivery slip noted that it said Loughborough.
Anyway I lodged a complaint by letter (no response) and then started pestering them with telephone calls, logging time and date and the person I spoke to. Eventually I ended up speaking with CS who actually told me they were allowing a 2 day lee way for acceptance on claims sent to the Crewe address and my claim would be accepted. (By this time my 3rd claim had also been rejected). This morning I have received cheques for my 2nd and 3rd claims so am very very happy. The customer service staff have actually been very helpful and although it has taken a while I have at last got a result.
For anyone else that has an issue similar to mine the number to ring is 0208 8965000 and ask to speak with the E2Save cashback team.:D0
