Yes indeed, one down four to go. I feel though that surely if we get the first one, we get the rest, if we stick to the rules...or more specifically, if we don't get them, we have very firm grounds on which to complain.

My only fear was getting the first one right, because it's fiddly what with the ported number thing and also the 120 days clause. They've paid my first cheque, and I have proof of that in the form of the letter they sent with it, and so they've confirmed that I've adhered to the guidelines and I have successfully 'redeemed'...so if they don't pay up in future, they've clearly broken the rules....

Just swap "complain" to "enforce" and you'll be fine. Getting one claim paid after porting promises zilch for the rest judging by other posts on this somewhere in the myriad of threads created by (ex) E2ave fans.

kfng, have you received your next bill to send in to them yet? I got mine today, so will send it shortly...

however my friend who is doing a different deal with the same people (Cashback Claims) told me yesterday that they have changed their address again.

The new one, for everyone's information, is as follows:

    CASHBACK CLAIMS
    PO BOX 8840
    LOUGHBOROUGH
    LE11 9EL

No doubt this is another underhand way to throw us off their scent...

Ok i've had cashback phone with OSPS for about 3 years and they've always paid up & I've always been good with the paperwork.

This is my little procedure at the time of purchase - I know warnings about OSPS have increased recently, so if I've missed anything out please let me know. The only change this year is that I've had to port a number to CPW 02 from Orange by supplying my PAC online.

2x handsets (2x different people buying) on 12 month cashback deals @ £1.99 p/m + itemised billing, purchased 06-05-08 delivered next day, sims inserted and network found.

    1)Outlook reminders scheduled for the 6, 8, 10 & 12th month or
    06-11-08
    06-01-09
    06-03-09
    06-05-09
reminder to cancel insurance and other tat after 21days.
    2)Vouchers received - check
3)4x copies of the original invoices made, transaction, addesss and phone number highlighted.
4)4x envelopes addressed according to the claim address on the vouchers - Loughborough.
    5)4x Special delivery labels filled-in.
    6)Vouchers filled in.

    At time of claim
7)Not a price match deal, but I keep a copy and then send in the original bill.
    8)Separate claim envelopes
9)I know when bills are issued and generally received by 1st claim/month 6. If there's any doubt about the claim time window and the date of the bills being near to 28days old, I email & ask which bill to send - I have a record and comeback.
10)Note the date claim was sent, attached the RM proof to the copy of the relevant bill sent in & also copy the claim voucher - again I have a record of the claim details if necessary.
11)Check RM delivery after 2 days.
12)Outlook reminder if after 28 days a cheque hasn't been received (I give them 7 days grace)

The only slip between the online purchase details and the paperwork is that online in clearly states 60days for rebate, paperwork 30 days - I'm happy to stick to the 30.

Screen capture/printout of tariff, phone deal, personal details, cashback criteria and cashback FAQs all taken at time of purchase.

My only other assumption regards porting - connection has taken place on 07-05-08, that's my start date regardless of porting 7-10 days later.

This is my system, it's not rocket-science, but it's worked so far - incidentially I don't mind being called anally-retentive.

    Any further tips always useful.
I do hope you're telling the truth?

Basically correct and safe. the only point I'd make is that you are wrong about the "only" slip between online purchase details and the paperwork is the bill validity. In fact, the t&c actually misguide people into sending one month early if you actually read them!

Thanks MJ - but how do arrive at the 'misleading terms' it's either 30 days or 60days from the relevant anniversery date? Being late, ie outside the 30 day slot as you assumed you had 60days I can understand.

    TIA

I'd call that pretty misleading! However, apart from that the dates are WRONG!

I sent my 4th claim on 16/4 to Crewe and it was forwarded to Loughborough and RM rec del confirmed it was del on 18/4. As I had not rec my cheque, I phoned CS on 12/5 on 0208 896 5000 and was put straight through to OSPS cashback team. The rep was very helpful and confirmed that it had not been processed, I confirmed the date it was sent and rec at their office, the rec del ref no and the network statement date, he processed it while I was on the phone and said the cheque would be with me in 2-3 weeks.

OH My GAWD!!!, I wasnt aware of the change of address. I sent mine to the add in Crewe. I am in big !!!! this time. Yes, I send mine on the 9th of May on the day I receive my bill as the window is already opened. My issue is now i get my cash back. How can they change their address like this?? Another !!!!!! way to confuse us. I sent it on RM recorded and it says the my mail had been delivered to the LOUGHBOROUGH office.

    My issues now are,
1.which address will i need to use in the future??
1a. Can i still send to the old address??
2.do i still use the claim form they sent me when i first receive my phone or do i have to reprint a new one??

    DAMN

The RM will forward it to the correct address. You were correct in sending it to the address you were given.
I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!
