My next bill isn't due until the 24th so I will be checking tomorrow. If I'm to be charged the extra £5 for BT Sport then I'll be straight on the phone as it's currently showing as included in my contract. I've never used it as I signed up after footie season ended. I'm only interested in PL or CL matches that involve Chelsea so no way am I going to pay £5 a month for that! There are other sources available!0

Ugger me Chelsea not worth a fiver a month . Must have reverted to the old useless pre russian chelsea . Must be all the boring 2 nils .0

i've completed my BT broadband contract couple of months ago and switched to another provider.
My direct debit was cancelled and BT rep took my last payment over the phone. At the time they confirmed that this is my last Bill and there will be no further billing from BT.
To my surprise they sent another bill this month asking me to pay for another £20 pounds for a service which I've never signed up or used for. BT sports.
Any forum members had such an experience pls comment. :mad:0 -

Where is Martin Lewis and MSE in all this. They should be all over this type of practice, for the so called "blagging" promoting MSE does. It appears that the only people being blagged are MSE members. When did Martin "sell out". Perhaps it's time for new blood to step up to the plate and start a moneysavingexpert that embraces the principles that this one was founded upon!

Next month's bill is now available and I haven't been charged the £5 for BT Sport. As they usually charge in advance then I'd have expected to see it included in the bill so fingers crossed it doesn't apply to my account.0

Just spoken to BT on complaints as India were useless. It took 22 mins but the upshot is that its best if I stick with my £10 a month infinity 1 that runs out in Jan 2016 because all other options (downgrading to BT Sport lite, getting 3 months HD free) mean recontracting until July 2016 and paying £23 a month for my broadband from February 2016. Bt Sport will cost £9 regardless with HD unless I downgrade to lite. Surely this can't be morally right as this isn't the 12 month contract I originally signed up to? The only plus point is that I was told that I can ring up and negotiate a reduction in my BB cost in the last 3 months of my current contract.
I'm surprised this isn't all over the news and programes like Watchdog.0 -
Downgrading to BT Sport Lite doesn't require a renewal of contract. Thats why the option is there.0

Yes it does according to the person I spoke to.
if I downgrade I have to re-contract my broadband unless you know better?0 -
