I've just recieved an email from BT - BT TV user -

    "Hello,
This season BT Sport is the only place you'll be able to watch the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League live. They're no longer on Sky Sports or ITV.

You'll find both competitions on our new BT Sport Europe. It's a brand new channel in your BT Sport Pack, which already includes the Barclays Premier League, The FA Cup, MotoGP™ and European rugby.

You don't need to do anything; you'll keep getting the BT Sport Pack for free and we'll write to you again if anything changes."

So for me it remains free with no hoops to jump through.

There seems to be three categories -

    1) Do nothing and get the new packs anyway.

    2) Renew your contract and get the new packs.

    3) Poeple being told they have to renew their contracts, then when those people question it are then told 'Oh sorry, no you don't.'

    This is a mess.
  • What happens regarding multiroom? We get BT Sport via our Sky boxes. At the moment we get the BT Sport free with BT Broadband and pay £5 for 'BT Sport Second Box'. Will this further £5 in August be just one subscription fee per month or will we need to pay £10 if we want it on both boxes?
    2012 - £350.88
    £2013 in 2013 Challenge £1969.98
    /£2013
    A-Z Challenge -
    ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
2013 Best wins - iPhone 5c, £100 Iceland Vouchers, £500 spend at BoBelle London, Beats Pill.

BT have announced a £1 increase for HD. Many Sky users who have rung up to cancel have been offered a £6.50 discount. So they will be paying £13.50 when the new packs kick in (not £19.99). Multiroom is to stay the same.
  • So all we'll need to pay is an extra £5 if we want all the BT Sport channels and we'll get it on the second box too?

Hi can i ask what MSE is doing about this problem are they fighting our corner i read that MSE Paloma was going to ask BT some more questions, But we have not heard anything from MSE.

What are you doing MSE about this scandalous action and treatment of its customers by an international company or is Mr Lewis just full of hot air.

What do you currently have though? How long is your current contract?

If you do nothing, your BT Sport Pack will cost £5 a month from 1 August 2015. But you can get it for free simply by renewing your BT TV and BT Broadband contract for 18 months.

Going to pay the £5 for now as I think there will be more mileage in getting a deal in Jan through retentions.

But you think BT have got it wrong and we could just get it anyway?

5mths left on my Infinity contract, 11mths on BT TV (YouView).

For now, I'd recommend doing nothing, as everyone has until the 1st Aug to make a decision. Plus BT may have a re-think on how they offer all these different deals, as up to now its been a highly confusing disaster.

Has the time come to buy a recorder and to keep the recording of the calls? I think that it probably has.

It has come a long time ago, for a few years now my phone has an app called call recorder which records every call. I save for future use what interests me.
