Switching back to 8.1 (fortunately very easy to do) until Microsoft change Windows 10 so that it will run Microsoft Money.
That may happen, or it may not (though the number of die-hard users is surprisingly high) but either way Microsoft Money is more important to me, and quite a lot of others it seems, than an upgraded Windows.
17 years of invaluable data - too precious to lose just like that, and I'm not convinced that the registry 'fix' is safe, or will stick.0 -

Ugly reg hack to fix MS money:

That hack's all over the net in various variations, as you know, but so far there's no proper fix. It works for most (but not all) people, but it hasn't yet been properly tested against updates or problems caused with other programs etc.
At some unknown point it will probably fail, risking unrecoverable valuable data. I don't want to take that risk, but I reckon there's a fair chance of a proper fix over the next few months, so I'll wait till then.0 -

Ain't gonna happen, you've had over 10 years to migrate to another program, you can't expect a company to support dead apps forever.0 -

Hence the term UGLY hack.
Don't yell at me, I didn't write or sell the software. I merely provided a solution to run the program that you may or may not have been aware of. Also don't be so dramatic, lead to unrecoverable data indeed. You might get some unexpected behaviour but it won't magically wipe your hard drive.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
