Okay, please I might be really stupid!!!???
So I got updates this morning, said important so clicked yes(I have updates set to important and manual. Had some problems with certain updates), next thing I get upgrading to Windows 10!!! It only showed security updates when I clicked install. I didn't want to stop the upgrade in case it cancelled out the free upgrade at a later date. So far all is well, but I am waiting for hell to let break lose.
I thought you sneaky B*stards!!! I was going to wait a few months to upgrade.0 -

Wait until you get W10 - forced updates and nothing you can do about it unless you run the enterprise edition.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -

Any idea.0 -

It's somewhere in the language and region settings (not got my Win10 box on and Just heading out...
Search for "Install Language Packs" that should give you the correct screen to go to and install the UK ones.
Double check your region defaults are set to UK then it should work...Laters

There are a few options in Pro too (or is that what you meant by enterprise?)
Anyway, a way round is to set the wifi as a metered connection - updates should no longer automatically download. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -

Nope I mean WSUS controlling updates instead of Microsoft, that's just delaying the sound of inevitability Mr AndersonScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
