    Hi
    Sorry if this makes me look a bit thick but why are people talking about installing win10 with an ISO disk? Don't you just click on the win10 icon in the task bar and follow the instructions? I'm looking to upgrade from win7 to 10 and have read this thread up to page 46 and it just seems to get more and more complicated.

    Reason 1 is you can upgrade from any version of 7,8,8.1; if you use Windows Update you have to be fully patched.
    Reason 2 is if you have lots of computers to upgrade, doing so from a disk/USB stick may be easier.

    I'm so glad I didn't fall for the Windows 10 fail. Windows 7 for me until eternity ... which is not too long in my case. :rotfl:

    If you haven't used it you can't comment on it being a fail or not....But, as you say, probably to late to change.....Shame..
