Just discovered I lost my printer after the installation. It's an HP Laserjet 1012. HP haven't supported it since Windows 7, but by manually installing it as a Laserjet 1015, it worked. Had to install it again...

I can use this file as an upgrade from my Win 10 install (previous version) - without formatting my HDD ?

Just noticed under Windows update / advanced settings
It says "Some Settings Are Managed by your ORGANISATION"
Which organisation is this then ?
I do not have an organisation
It sounds like you may have it set to have some settings organised by your company - from memory there is a setting that allows updates/settings to be dealt with in bulk by a local server such as used in companies with a lot of computers and domain control servers (basically a setting to allow IT staff to make sure that everyone's computer in the company is running the same settings/patches and only install them after they're tested/known to be good by the IT staff).
Is your computer one issued to you by an employer or something?0 -
