Just noticed under Windows update / advanced settings
It says "Some Settings Are Managed by your ORGANISATION"
Which organisation is this then ?
I do not have an organisation

Is CLASSIC SHELL still compatible with the new version of Win 10 ?

It's compatible with Windows 10, but whether it'll be compatible after SP1 is installed, I couldn't say.

Mine is stuck at "Preparing to install updates 32%"
And has been for 30 mins
I will switch off and let it have a rest before trying again later

yes , however after the update you will be sent back to tiles , but if you right click the menu , a box will open saying classic shell needs re configuring , click it , job done.

I use foxit (pdf) reader instead if the pathetic MS included one , this had reset it self back to default as well
one drive , which I had uninstalled came back , and the arolite theme , I kicked from a win7/8 had disappeared

Maybe it should be called Windows Arthur (as in 'alf a job).

As it stands, those flat single colour Windows 2 style borders are pug ugly.
