Me too, it's SP1 by any other name, and I don't suppose it'll be the last...
Huge download (about 2GB) and the update failed on the first attempt, but that could have been because it was doing it in the background and I hibernate the computer when I'm not using it. Anyway, I triggered it manually after the failure was reported and it took about 30 mins after downloading to install itself.
Can't see any obvious difference, although the "Update History" has been wiped out. Had 110GB free space before and 111GB after, so that must have been due to the clean-up it did.

Could upset people on a limited data allowance to find that 2GB more than expected has come through...

You wish, wait until Redstone in June 2016 not to mention the multitude of bug fixes and (cough) enhancements between now and then.

Windows 10 is the last OS from Microsoft (they say), it'll be continually enhanced.

Interesting, even if it only confirms I won't see much. Switched off Cortana, don't use Edge and don't really need more tiles on the Start menu. Does seem to have fixed a problem I noticed when I had multiple spreadsheets open. Previously, I wasn't getting "layered" icons on the takbar - one for each file open. Do now.

That's just marketing BS by MS, W10 expires in 2025.

    Expect another Windows.

Is this an "upgrade" or "update" ?
It appears to be a completely new windows installation - since Rollback allows a return to the previous installation ....
Also - does the file have to be downloaded in one go or will the download continue a few hours/days later ?

Updated my 2006 Dell laptop yesterday.
Only small problem was that I manually restarted from the start menu, and this gave an update failed error.
I had to restart from the update page, after another 20 mins all was installed.
    Move along, nothing to see.

Its an upgrade. Either install it under your control by downloading the ISO (see sig) or let Windows Update do it in slow time.
